It looks like a team whose key players literally never play together. Coaching can’t fix injuries.
That's a fair call too. These guys have barely played together, and it's worth consideration when looking at our attack.

Have you watched the Storm and Roosters this year?

They've missed key spine players all year. Coaching can absolutely fix our issues.
Yeah, we're certainly not those teams though. That's built over years of training, excellence and expectation - as well as the coaching of course.

I actually think we look better when we're moving forward up the field into a try scoring position off the back of our forwards than we do trying to attack right at the line. We don't seem to have enough set plays, or "shapes" in the modern parlance, to really put a full set together in the attacking 20.

When we do move the ball, and we've moved it reasonably well tonight as far as getting it across the field, the problem is we telegraph exactly where it's going ahead of time. No-one off the ball ever looks like they're actually a threat of getting the ball. Our decoys and line runners kinda suck ass.
Shape is one thing but under Vlandys ball I think it should only make about 1/3rd of your attacking structure with quick shift/early ball and attacking through the ruck/dummy half also equally as advantageous under Vlandys ball unfortunately we haven't gotten the memo yet and we're using tactics from 2 years ago

Friz is another guy we completely under utilize. How is it that we find plays to put on for Fitz, but not Friz?

No doubt they've built something special over time. But we don't get there with excuses.

Of course it has an impact not having them played much together but we have to expect better standards.

Yeah, I would have loved to have heard what O'Brien said to them in the sheds. He should have been filthy at them for not leading by more... Bellamy would have stripped the paint off the sheds if Melbourne put themselves in this position.

Hmm, Best definitely does hold old mate back there in slow motion... I dunno, I'm happy enough to take it to be honest. Ponga finally strikes through Fitz.
