New deal, new hair – now Koroisau wants Luai to re-commit to Tigers

Thanks RM, great read.
I think the club's preference to resign Koroisau over DaSilva was to help retain players like Rommy and to stabilise the club.
I'm actually not stressing so much now about retaining Rommy.
We'll have a war chest if he moves on but I do want him stay.

Admittedly a grade down from NRL but agree with you that his form now is better then what he showed at Souths. He is very eager for work, often taking the first hit up, then getting to dummyhalf on the next play the ball and going for another run. His finishing has also been top notch.

A bit worried that he will be playing right wing as he has only played left for the magpies but Im sure he will adjust.

One things for sure, with a back 3 of Turuva/Skelton/Tuitupou our meters wont be an issue
You spoke to soon Vic as Tu’itupou has been moved to the left and Skelton to the right for the Panthers game. :)

I also think Skelton played right wing in last years finals didn't he Vic?
I'm feeling good about this game.....bring it on.
We r certainly a chance in this game as we were unlucky to lose to them recently. If our ex panthers play to their potential it will be a cracking game

What do you reckon?
I'm always confident before game day and generally know how we will fair after the first 15 mins hahaha

Jerome just needs to take Cleary out with the first tackle and we'll be right. Hahaha
It certainly would be nice for the sublime NC to go off injured early however he certainly brought out the best of JL when we played them recently. That was JL’s best game for us thus far & im expecting him to be close to mom today

I'm confident we'll play well today. I'm also confident Penrith will win comfortably. Our only hope is if we play our best game of the year and Penrith take us extremely lightly.
I'm confident your right on all counts DOM.
MoM Api. He's slipped under the radar lately and could be out to thank the club for it's show of faith in him.
May should play well as he's playing for a contract as is AD and Tu’itupou who want upgrades.

I don’t think we have the firepower in the forwards to match it with the Panthers today, they’ll sting us through the guts for sure, but it’s been a strange weekend so far so I’m not ruling out a win. I like the look of this backline, the outside boys just need to get their defence right

I'm hoping/ hopefully expecting for Api to run from DH at every opportunity to threaten and keep their attention on HIM and need Turuva to be at his elbow. Also I'd be working Pap over as hard as possible...he's good in spurts but tires pretty quickly and gets lazy...Luai and May are both strong and fast enough to destroy him if he does
Now for what they can do to us........

A good start is imperative. Can't afford to give cheap turn overs. If we play up tempo but disciplined footy we will win this.
Let's beat the Cowboys on the ladder.

I don't blame To'a for those tries. For mine Skelton has had a shocker.

The big issue though is our attack. If you can't score points you can't win games. We don't look like being able to make a bust.
