Playing the team coming 13th who can't make the finals missing their best player.

Said we would put on 50 in the first 5 minutes, cows didn't show up today.

All that said, our goal line defence was good (other than the try) when it needed to be

I didn't see the first half. For sure the Cows were woeful in the second but credit needs to be given for rattling them through defence.
Sione was like we expected from Ramien. He does have that in him.

We won the IQ stakes today.

Unbelievable how many times the Cows gave forward passes or the ball carrier could not pass the footy because the bloke he wanted to give it to was in front of him. Countless.

I hate relying on other results.
If, by a miracle, we make the 8 we won't get far but it's a plus for us.

I mean it was a great match to watch, watching them run wild over the Cowboys so easily in the second half and it's nice to have a positive F/A with our finals hopes still alive. Sione really looked like he was enjoying himself.
When he first moved out of the centres the focus was on him bulking up and hitting hard with his head down. His whole game changed. He needs space, a step, a palm and his head up.

Thought Sione has been all round really solid and reliable all year tbh. But yeah today he really shined getting pitted against Hess.

Good to see us put on a show. Got the points we needed for the ladder and for the for and against. Nice.

We also saw some offloads, some linebreak and also some of the big middle lads passing to one a other. Simple things like that keep the opposition guessing. Really glad to see us not run one out the whole game.

We got some momentum from the forwards and Pearce and Ponga had another field day.

Barnett was strong in everything. Loved his carries, offloads and did everything well today. Ese'ese was a breath of fresh air. Need more of him. And might be a little controversial but would rather start King than Glasby. Might be tempted to drop Glasby altogether as Guerra was great as well.... Anyone else agree or me being nuts?

You're not crazy Yosh, I'd take King over Glasby at this stage too. Although not sure how many runs he made.

Felt like we relied too heavily on our rep forwards in the first half.

5 of Fitzgibbon's runs came in the last 10 minutes, other than that he didn't make many on the edges especially tough runs.

Good win, but don't get carried away with this one. We finally delivered on expectation though.

Also Moga isn't up to it any more. It's a shame to say but we really need a centre or winger going into next year.
