There are no excuses to lose this. Should dominate and win by 20. We have them covered in every position.
I wish I shared that view! I think they are very solid without a lot of big names. They also play some solid football which will test our defense.

They have big strong athletic backs and their forward back is still solid. Young halves are their biggest weakness right now but they've still done ok lately.

I think the two backlines are pretty even but I think we’ve got them covered in the forwards and in the spine positions. I would take our 1,6,7 & 9 over theirs both individually and as a unit. I think the sharks will turn up and try to turn it into a dogfight but we’ll have a bit too much class in the key positions when it counts.

Knights win 30-16

We are hopeless

Next year however...watch out
Not hopeless. Injury riddled. No Johnno, Moylan or Graham for a start. Put them in we would be in the dog fight of the year for us so far. And I am saying we ‘should’ win. Not we will. As my esteemed colleagues remind me we are shite this time of year. And it gets worse when we are supposed to win.

It’s a beautiful day in Brisbane.
I’m getting a positive feeling our attack will click today and we will put on some points.
This should be the expectation of a full strength team with 10 days preparation.

so I’m ready for disappointment.

Braith just shared a stat..

When Ponga and Pearce have played together we have averaged 33 points for and 10 against. Otherwise its 17 for and 25 against.

Note they have only played 2 games together this year 😂 Hope the trend continues though!

It does feel like a 33-10 kind of day!
