I didn’t see the game yesterday and have just watched the first half this morning. Typical Tigers performance I felt for the following reasons;

- We held the ball and didn’t turn it over, they did. That limited a lot of the raiders attack early on. When we hold the ball and don’t turn it over it doesn’t expose our defence (although this year it has been a heck of a lot better)

- When they finally held the ball and got decent field position, they strolled through us up the middle, especially when Matulino and Packer came from the field

- 20/10 at half time was not a true indication of the game to this point however refer point 2

- We certainly have the better Moses now at our club

- Robbie kicking on the 4th tackle was not the right option and cost us another try

I’ll be watching the second half later tonight.

Apart from the first 10 minutes of our 2nd half it was a very ugly half of football so goodluck Haha

I guess a positive is we only conceded 10 points , but it felt like we had no ball

Ugh sounds fun!

I forgot to mention that we scored majority of our points when they were down to 12.

Still a win is a win and we needed to turn it around against Canberra after the horror of the last 2 years.

When Tapine strolled over with 15 minutes to go (like all their tries) I, like I assume the rest of you, thought 'here we go, our season is over now'.

But to the players' credit they really dug in with defence and that's what got us home. We were a bit unlucky not to have a bigger lead but I'm stoked with their effort in the last 10 minutes to get the win. We wanted it more, so that's a good sign.

No one troubles us more than the big Raiders players so it was a huge effort to get the win.

Let's hope the Gronkos continue their slide and let's get into the top 8 eh! :cool:

We've had the death wobbles against Raiders, Knights and Dragons in recent weeks and managed to hold on. While it's disappointing to not be putting them to the sword, it is refreshing to see a Tigers team grind out the wins when it gets tough.
