I still feel like we can easily win this, but gee whiz we're trying to make it hard for ourselves.

f**k this is putrid. Dumb offload by Pearce - but at the same time - why do we never have someone we can offload it to? There's just no footy instincts there.

And why is Ponga on the right so much again? Shouldn’t he be trying things on each end.

all of his dead plays down the right can’t be good for confidence

Also we're spreading the ball before we've earned the right to do so... which is to be expected when we don't have much of a forward pack I suppose.

Seeing a player go down with injury is never good. However, if Haas is gone, our chances of us winning just tripled.

but this is nothing new mate. This would have been the perfect game to try a draw-and-pass kind of game plan.

I wish I had your outlook and optimism. The last month does not make me think our real squad will be alright. Playing our starting spine without our starting forwards today was probably the worst way to go about today, IMO
It’s not our starting spine - Brailey isn’t there.

It’s a training run to give Pearce, Clifford, Ponga and Best some time to try a few things. It is what it is.

I don’t understand the bunker sometimes when they just look at one angle and replay and it’s not clear but they’ve made a decision..

And it's going to give them tonnes of confidence to screw everything up for 80 minutes because they don't have the guys around them they need to do anything. Coaching masterstroke.
