Can anyone at the game provide any feedback in regard to the fans response to Sharon and Turdesco ?

Teddy copped it quiet a bit for the Feldt try from the kick where he was nowhere to be seen. Otherwise didn't notice anything untoward

Yeah Malaki over the past 2 weeks has shown that he is really just a backup. I'm excited for Fonua next year.
Yes he has been ordinary in defence since the Manly game.
Gives his opposite way too much room to move.
He won't be there in 2018

Second half was worst they have played in months. They kept giving Cowboys back to back penalties in last 20min and a lot of drop ball. Also another soft try down MWZ wing seriously we had more men on that side and he was still not marking the winger. Hopefully next year we have a safer winger in terms of defense.

Last 20mins they were very very poor.
No effort, cowboys were running all over them.
After Chee Kam gave away that stupid penalty we choked.
But that has always been our problem in 2017,we can't play 80 mins..

I mentioned it in the game day thread but goal kicking also let us down again last night. Yes, we hit the post twice but 16-18/6 is a lot better mentally for us than 14/6.

The second half was painful to watch, we were back to our bumbling best. I'm glad that pillow Woods is leaving. MWZ is not up to first grade and it was woeful that he let in a try identical to the two that Uate scored against him. The main positive I take away is that Marsters looks really promising. Also Twal looks the goods. Unfortunately I have to agree with whoever was bagging MM recently, he's also not up to FG, unless he's playing badly injured.

The looked like the reserve grade team that we all spoke of 6 to 8 weeks back.

Funny isn't it, we bag Naiqama & Brooks and yet, we missed them last night (but not as much as Taylor)

Hope all hands on deck for next Sunday night.

Agree re kev and brooks but I don't know man, I'm pretty certain ET wouldn't have put a stupid shoulder charge on a kicker to completely change the game.

Goal kicking is huge. If one of the ones that hit the posts goes in we're only down by 6, not 8 in the last 5 minutes. Obviously a hugely different finish in that instance

The 2nd half was probably the worst we've played under Cleary but you're kidding if the refs didn't play some sort of advantage to the cowboys

There was so many blatant forward passes let go me and so many others at the ground just gave up and starting scratching our heads

Littlejohn actually played pretty good can't fault his effort.

LoLo looked lost, but I think it was more to being used to playing with Brooks.

MWZ will be amazing at NSW Cup next year

Chee Kam is a bit brain dead but I still think he's pretty solid. Played out of position remember

The only positives I can take is Marsters, Twal and Aloiai building nicely for next year

I think he has been really good. He is belting it up. His missed a couple of tackles recently but they were tough ones to make.

I reckon Nofo and Malakai are really helping our forwards out.

Fonua will be better for sure

I bring you two weeks ago against manly where he was one on one twice with uate. If he puts his body infront I'm almost positive he stops uate and puts him over the sideline but for some reason just arm grabs

Can't defend. As a halfback defending against bigger boys running at you I was always told think body infront first then the rest will work itself out. Worked more often than not

At worst you're gonna provide a speed bump for another defender to come across the top and whack the bloke. Not hard

Don't know hows much league, posters on here played but MM tackled his ring off and will be great with a stronger pack around him next year.

I was not disappointed with the game last night because they had a dig and that is all you can ask for at this stage in the season and where they are placed.

I played league for over 12 years including rep teams although admittedly in the dummy half position I've probably only played 5 times as a stop gap because we had so many injuries

Quite possibly one of the toughest positions on the field as you get extremely fatigued making tackles so getting your defence right is pretty crucial but unfortunately at this level I think you have to offer a lot more than just defense which is pretty much all mcillwrick has.

Among the first that should be having a week or two in reserve grade are the linesmen...it had to be a record for the number of appaling forward passes ..4 officials and a bunker....maybe needs 8 officials and two bunkers

The myopic refs screwed us in 2nd half. Can these imbeciles not c that Fensom blatantly milked the penalty in the play the ball that led to a crucial try for the cows.

I'm not upset considering the team we fielded & the difference in the end coming down to 2 clever kicks from Morgan & Granville that the cows scored from.

I reckon with the cattle we had on the field, we overperformed.

No regular half, our best centre out and the rest of the team having trouble making a regular reserve grade team, Ivan is obviously doing something right.

I bet he sits there after the game and thinks - "thank god these f**k wits wont be here next year..."

Brooks wouldn't have changed the result.JLJ played ok he set up a try & gave us a rare repeat set from a very clever kick.Additionally he didn't let in a try from a moronic defensive misread that Brooks is guilty of each game as is the halfwit Naquama !!

In the end the diff was the smarts of the cows spine taking advantage of our fatiguing state cup players in the last 15 mins of the match !!
