It's Ben Cummins mate, he was equally shit both ways yesterday.

Yeah Cummins:rolling_eyes:. The referees have generally been atrocious this year. Some of the interpretations are absolutely destroying the game. The penalty against Nofo in the play the ball was ridiculous. He didn’t call held but when hands were initially laid upon him he was on one knee, not making any progress, ie: held. He got up expecting to be allowed to play the ball. That should have been a penalty to the tigers. The Nofoaluma shepherd involving Chee-Kam was also ridiculous, Chee-Kam had already run through the line and was no chance of hindering anybody when Nofo went behind. They need to get back to simple interpretation of that rule, make a judgment on whether the player impeded had a chance of making a tackle. The knock on rulings are shit, half of them are knock backs. There was an absolutely deliberate forward pass I think it was in the Roosters that was called a scrum, the player that ball was passed to was offside it’s a straight out penalty.

The Nofo penalty was ludicrous. Play on all day

The Chee-Kam call was 50-50. I though he was in the line, but Prior wouldn't have stopped Nofo and didn't even try.

I just had another look at the Nofo play the ball. I’m wrong. But I will say if they penalise that why do they now not penalise fullbacks and wingers that just ‘surrender’. That surrender action was what the voluntary tackle rule was made for. Nofoaluma’s infringement was no worse than any of those

I agree with you.
The Ronaldo chip and chase that was ruled a knock on but the video ref called knock back, you can bet if either team oe that 30m up field its a knock on.

The strip from Townsend on your fullback wasn't a strip. The Nikora tackle from Brookes was just unlucky. It was Nikoras momentum and Brookes style that lead to that. It just looked bad but I don't think it was a penalty.

Hard luck for you guys, I honestly think you deserve it over the Broncos.

Especially seeing that his nephew or cousin ( Eiso ) is in the team he just did it to.
No class, and it shows.
It strikes me as odd that we focus on Gallen's field goal rather than Madge's shit team selections, the fact that robbie played at all, the facs we could barely score a point with or season on the line or not had a 10 minute window where we shit the bed for the 100th time. Yes it's a bit classless but we could have oh i don't know looked like scoring points and actually won the game too.....

The newly appointed SuperCoach stuffed up, badly. Though I doubt it was all his fault.

To have Farah and Reynolds on the bench was unforgivable. To play Momo at fullback was diabolical. To have Reynolds and Farah on the field at the same time, bad. To me, Farah and Reynolds were fighting over dummy half duties there for a while before Marshall went to FB with Reynolds to 6 and Momo back to the centres.

Let’s hope from here on in he can get some more clarity and less pressure to play certain players to appease the marketing department.

I don’t know what it is but the whistle blowers seem to give the away team a leg up every time they come to Leichhardt. Cummins was diabolical yesterday and destroyed what was shaping up to being a great game.

We basically had no ball for the first 20 minutes of the second half and that was due to some rubbish calls from the refs and some bad plays from us. No team is going to win big games without a equal share of the ball

Sadly people look at the final score line and say what are you complaining about you got smashed, but as I have said before a couple of crappy calls can swing momentum and when it goes it is near impossible to get back

I agree it was a great game. Penalty calls make all the difference in shaping the way a game will go. There were crappy calls against you fellas.

It was def a tight tussle and could have been a better spectacle than it was.

I think Sharks players and fans have a great respect for the Tiges, from the Tiger Shark days and also Benji carving us up usually.

Maybe to please the marketing department but Madge knows if he won that game by leaving the status quo and adding as was suggested Talau for Thompson he would have pleased all departments so I’ll put it down to a brain fade lack of clear thought and possibly just getting a bit too close to Farrah ..Their families are linked up somehow...Farrah first approached Madge about coming to the club when they were at the same wedding.....and Benji at fullback that was just plain fkn dumb ..The last 10-20 minutes is Benjis time..No one can pull a try out of their arse in a mediocre team like Benji...No one! But not from fullback.

Oh well, another season over and probably in the right position #9. although we will forever rue those 2 or 3 games where successful goal kicking could have turned it for us.

On the positive side we are getting tougher but geez we still have 20 odd minutes of ordinary football in the side almost each week. With a sizable enough chunk of our roster taken up by unwanted 'had its' we competed.

Next season- lets also hire a former ref to try to get in their heads and thinking for a way to ease some of these terrible penalty counts against us. If Cameron Smith can do it, so can we.

The 3rd umpire had time to show some balls and do the right thing with that “shepherd”.as the commentators said no way would that shepherd have been called if it happens further down field...WAS ANYONE IMPEDED..No

Need to replace up to one half of the squad so the 9th was a viable result.

Madge was eating the wrong kind of mushrooms during the week and came up with a complete dogs breakfast which he duly vomited into after Corey’s injury.

Took the whole season, but we found a kicker.

The usual mid game lapse cost us again. Where do their minds wander to?!

Unless that’s overcome, 9th again next year. We need yoga and focusing techniques to stop the daydreaming.

The Gallen field-goal showed what a skillful and classy forward Gallen is. Complaining about it is just sour grapes.
+Yeah . . . my point was that his nephew/cousin was in the team . . . and more disrespect to him.
But at the end of the day, let him enjoy it I suppose.

I’ve never seen such weird and brutal timing of injuries for so many key players ...Liddle Farrah Mbye Thompson ....Just before the game 5 minutes in ...And they were nasty as hell injury’s..Like just take him out of the equation for the season and him ....ironically Benji pretty much flew through unscathed and so did Reynolds ...Weird weird..I’ve been following Benji for a while and for him to get through the bulk of the season injury free is not normal

Watching the sharks get monstered by an understrength manly was pretty depressing. It makes me wonder if Sharks were good last week or are we just so far off the pace.

Probably the latter, tbh
