Biggest test of the year so far.
Hopefully we can get our best a available side out on the field for the whole game.

Can't believe how good the Raiders are. Even stronger than last year?

Can't see us getting beat though. Us by 4 in a tight low scoring affair.

I know many on here don’t like Mann but we don’t have much choice, he will be better with Pearce, he’s not ideal especially with Pearce getting injured.
Did we realise that Watson received a potentially lengthy injury whilst playing Hooker/9 the curse moves along.

Watson certainly is a bit injury prone, I wonder if it's just bad luck or perhaps the way he plays the game being a small man.

I think we know at the moment he is 1st choice but with Hoy and Randall proving their worth there is options for Obi to think about.

Like it.

Gives Hoy a chance to slot in at 6 whilst McCullough takes a spell.

Randall shouldn’t be feeling hard done by. He did his bit and will get opportunities whilst Watson is out.

Randall needs a break. 71 tackles on debut sheez. I get the feeling Obi will be closely comparing the performance of Lickety Split and Hoy at 5/8 during this match.

Maybe I’ve got rose tinted glasses but I was comparing the teams before and I think ours looks better on paper.

I certainly admire your optimism but that is rose tinted indeed. I’d call it around 11-6 to the Raiders in a head to head by position. And overall as a team they are clearly the better side especially when you factor in who we have missing.

Doesn’t mean we can’t win. But we’re not stronger on paper, it’s hard to see how you would reach that conclusion.
