He should be a further along by now, but I guess we find out.

I’d prefer Benji on the touch line like Flanno this game.

As for confidence, I’m thinking we go in a bit ginger as we like to do, but I don’t want to see us lose touch.

I’d be a lot more comfy with Skelton. His season has been something to behold by our standards. He drips with class.

We will have to weather the storm, they will come out strong and defiant. I even expect them to lead by half time. It’s a question of extent.

Once we got the momentum last week, we did well not to let it slip. We will the same mind set.
Re: Skelton, he's another surprise the dogs let him go.
Though they are doing OK atm.

I think we had the better offer but also we were rebuilding properly.

Certainly Benji and co have recruited well.

I read we had to let Klem go on difficult terms for us.
Would still be a win for us, imo.
I think they will need every dollar, to re-sign Galvin and get Tay May and hopefully enough left for another forward?
Bearing in mind, we still need to off load Sullivan for the next 2 seasons.

Faatape defence is not NRL standard atm, hopefully he can improve as his best football is ahead of him if he applies himself.
I agree with the bold statement you made. The one great thing about Faatape is his effort. He is a guy that truly gives his all whenever he plays.

I do fear that he just simply doesn't have the goods. Im glad we extended him to this year for him to have a full off-season working with us. I do hope he succeeds as he does have an attacking game. He is small and I think that is part of his challenge.

I’m not damp squidding but we haven’t met many alpha teams yet.

One thing I’m loving is our resilience and the mystical Terrell. His loss from the roosters was far worse for them than the dogs skel oversight.
No we haven't but a lot of the good sides in previous years are falling away atm.
But you can only play who turns up on the day.
Hopefully, we are playing ourselves into some form to be a competitor, I think we are.

There was a rumour we had to fork out massive overs to rid of him. The type of money that made the Moses heist look like value to us. I remember gasping at the cost to us.

Back in the day when money was valuable.

Well last year, if we were done at half time, it was about all she wrote.

This year I’ve kind of come to expect it but now have faith we will keep asking questions.

Our depth remains a bit of an issue, depending on who’s out. That will come I guess.

I’m not sure about anyone else, but I’m regretting waiting for AD to go down, even to the point of waiting for him to get up before switching onto play.

As you say, we live on the ceiling, lol. It’s hard to jump down safely.

I'd rather be us than the pennies or the rorters atm. hahahaha

In the broad, we are marginally exceeding expectations. We’d better have a low error rate today. It’s still slushy and sludgy.

Simple game punctuated by calculated risks.

TDS is going from strength to strength, he will wreak havoc if they are spooked.

I am looking forward to him having his inevitable day out. It’s coming. He’s worked so hard, been loyal and earned it.

Star also has no reason to be fear them unless he creeps back into his days of bad old days depression and introversion.

I'll enjoy the view while we are up here.

Most seasons there is a surprise early season surge by one or two of the regular cellar dwellers only for them to plummet through the floors by the time SOO rolls around...in recent times it's often been the Dragons...anyway here's hoping it's not us this time and we can keep the fizz going long enough to get a look.in

I'm feeling quietly confident today.

The Warriors are without RTS and DZW on the wings and will miss them bringing the ball out from their own end. Nichol-Klostadt has been in pretty poor form so far this season. So they are bit light on in the back 3.

I think the big key for us is going to be in and around the ruck. The Warriors love passing it back inside and attacking the location of the previous play the ball, looking for lazy markers, or players who have clocked off once the ball goes past them. Wade Egan has also been extremely damaging out of dummy half and in support when they've gotten quick play the balls. This is the key area for us. If we can get this right in defence I think we'll win.

Conversely, the same area is one where we can attack the Warriors because they can be lazy themselves in this part of the game. I can see Api and TDS having a good day.

Go the Tigers

I want to see today if Galvin has it,or not today..because the the time has pretty much arrived where we are going to be parting with Brooks money and more for him, without knowing how he goes against the big boys. I don’t care which way it goes. If he’s as good as most are saying Id gladly part with the dosh.. If he’s not then I hope people can see it and recognise it
