To date I think we are right about where I expected us to be, if not a little bit in front.

Apart from the team still trying to gel (which isn't helped when 2 of your key recruits in Watson and Moga are off on long term injuries) I think it is really crucial that we step up this week with us having our second home game of the season, which I believe they will.

The weather is expected to be OK, so I hope there is a really good crowd (20K plus) to make McDonald Jones Stadium a place where this team lifts and knows that our home ground can become a fortress if they can lift the intensity like the Dragons did on the weekend - it will be important for the rest of the home game rounds that they show fans that turning up does lift this team.

The difference between the last 2 weeks and the first 2 weeks results can be summed up in 1 key facet - completions. Some might see this as an over simplification but if we can get ourselves back up into an 80-85% + completion rate with a 50% possession share, I think a lot of the other factors will take care of themselves.

If we can pick this game up, I think we all would have definitely accepted 3 and 2 for the first 5 rounds of 2018

If Buhrer is dropped, what does that mean for us if there is an injury in the outside backs? Fitzgibbon appears to have some speed and is quite lateral in defense so I'd imagine he'd be the one to shift out wide.

Now Walters has walked out, even more adversity for the Broncos.

Last time they faced adversity like this, a goal-post won them the game against an undercooked Cowboys team and then to really nail the point home, they failed to score a single try in 85 minutes of football...

I have a horrible feeling about this game. Every time the Broncos get shit put on them they bounce back. Please don’t let it happen here.

I'd love to punch this prick straight in the face

“He [Brown] has done a good job there, but we didn’t leave it in bad shape,” Bennett told Brisbane media representatives on Friday.

Asked what Brown had done well, Bennett replied: “I’m not sure yet … well he unbuilt it, so I suppose if you unbuild it, the next thing you’ve got to do is rebuild it.

Can’t wait for tomorrow night. Haven’t wanted them to win a game so much in a long, long time.

Tbh if we're ever going to beat the Broncos it's now or never, I want to see fhe boys fire up tonight.

I'd just like to see them beat anyone. And if they can't tonight and we are no better than the previous two weeks it could be that we are 2 and 6 come the next home game v Souths in R9. And that will pretty much be season over.

Isn't this the guy who said it would take 5 years to fix Newcastle?
