Is Watson back soon? With Ponga dominating that left side, I think Watson unpredictability and energy could make a lot of space for Ramien.

We are in huge strife.

Manly, and DCE are playing good, attacking football. It will get ugly if we lose this game. The media and fans will press Brown, and then there may be questions of the playing group.

On the other hand, maybe we turn up play well and get the win; building momentum for a win away against the Titans and find ourselves at 3-3?

Season turning game really.

Watson struggles to pass Yosh.

Yeah but he is good at getting himself into space and can offload. He is tricky with the ball and offers more than what Lino did. Not saying he will play make in the traditional sense but he does cause havoc with the ball.

If we cannot beat this Manly team ex Tom Turbo we dont deserve to be anywhere near the 8.

Season on the line here...

I thought Dan was great against Saints. Finally getting the legs pumping, making post contact metres and landing on his front.

Brown will give Lino atleast 1 more game. You really don’t want to change your halves 3 weeks in a row if you want to build any sort of cohesion. Lino deserves a proper go. That will probably leave Kurt Mann out if Watson comes back, though I reckon Mann is the better hooker of the two.

I think we need Guerra back in the starting lineup. His leadership will bring a lot, may even take a load off Pearce, and he lead our defence last year, by that we’re struggling in that area as a team but Sione’s been missing too many tackles. I’d start Guerra on the edge and give Sione a stint in reserves.

One thing that’s been rarely mentioned is that Josh King has been playing quite solidly in the little time he’s got so far this year.

Like the team/selection but would have Dan at 10, Glasby at 13 Bench Watson or Mann, .Gavet, Barnett/Sione and King
Think we leave Jacob, Saulo, Mogo put pressure on those ahead of them playing strong in reserves, light at end of tunnel
