I really don't want to see too many conservative midfield bombs by Pearce. This Broncos side has numerous weaknesses all over the park and we need to attack them directly and relentlessly.

Hoy will be in for backup for Mann but he might not see much time again. I'd rather see another fwd in given the minimal time Hoy gets. I suppose it's some experience for him.
We are lacking edge attack. It's up the middle it wide. Sione needs to step up. Fitz back might help a little.

Hopefully O'Brien has instilled some mental toughness in our players because to be honest I'm a bit over the past few seasons where we lose a game and it just snowballs out of control from there. Last year, it was one large block of losing, and then one large block of winning, and then one large block of losing again.

Melbourne are a bloody good team, but it was just...one...game. Get over it and move on.

I'll be watching Mitchell Pearce in particular. Hopefully he doesn't go into his shell and provides us with a commanding performance.

Talking next year not this, we still have a very good competitive squad even with current injuries, we will be ok if we just get a bit of injury free for a while, have great depth in many spots but lack a bit in 6 & 7 so fingers crossed.
