We're having a go but control and execution is still shit house.
I honestly don't think we've trained for it at all. The few times we've tried it, we've bungled it completely and given away a penalty..Why are we the only team in the comp without blockers?
Best looks like he is injured his leg again
Oh, and I reckon we got the better Brailey, too. He's been great as always.
And just on Musgrove too - I think it really shows that he's an "older" debutant at 23. Nowhere near as over-awed as many other debutants that you see hit first grade, and you can see the hunger in him to keep his spot. He's waited a long time for that jersey, and he intends to do everything he can to show he deserves to keep it. You wouldn't pick anyone else on our roster (except Hunt of course) above him at wing based on those 40 minutes.
If we can score next I think it will break them. They don't look like they're out there to prove a point at all.I reckon it's ours to win or lose. They don't seem to have much in them.
Honestly I'm not best positioned to fill you in on that mate, but he's been in the lower grades and bounced around clubs a bit for the last few years. He was a Knights junior originally, went elsewhere to get a shot at first grade, didn't really make it - came back to Newcastle to play in the local competition, and has managed to pick up a tiny contract at the Knights this year to fill a roster spot for us I think. Suddenly he gets a crack at first grade and I mean you can see he wants it more than your average 18-20 year old debutant.Fairly new to following and supporting the Knights, what's Musgroves history Pal?
Hopefully once he hits his 20s his body starts to normaliseMade of glass unfortunately.
Hasn't ever strung more than a few games together, even in juniors
