Surely no one could disagree with him getting a spot.
Haas is the premium prop in the game and May kept him quiet and out performed him imo. I know you guys don't like stats that much but they are a good guide and I'd be backing May for fantasy coach capt this week.

It’s pretty much the full load of Wests Tigerage.

The expectation is for a win despite the markets who had deserted us.

But I think AOB is pretty good coach as their performance against the dogs suggested.

He is one of the coaches who can do things, but he doesn’t quite have the roster to reach optimum. He’s got some “mad “reshuffles here, debutants, even reserves out injured.

Their pack is a looking quite forlorn.

But they have some marquee and sub marquee, especially when they are on:

Dangers

Ponga. Plays the game at a higher level than most. If Bula is a 6, he’s an 8.5. Exciting and enigmatic. He’s one of the few players I’d actually pay to see play. Overpriced unfortunately-and was a taught a valuable lesson about rep footy recently.

Best. Strong and fast. On his day, bigger and more ferocious than many forwards.

It might be me, but I love that Fletcher Sharp. Gifted player, a dose of x. Beautiful step on him, great sleight of hand, utility. Once he came to my attention, I haven’t been able to ignore his game.

Marzhew. One of the most underestimated players in the comp.

Leo the workhorse. Knocked back serious offers to land at the dogs.

I reckon our best bet is to try and get them to fold. They will be keeping an eye on us spreading the ball early (which we've been doing well) so I'd like us to go back to conventional footy. Have our forward hit it up one after another and don't have a big unit support the hit up, instead, be ready to hit the next one and so on.
Of course you have your dummy decoy runners but not a big player jogging beside the other big unit. Hunt has developed this habit because he's not fit enough.
After 4 quick solid hit ups, kick and chase.
When the D folds on whatever tackle then it's a shift to our wingers.
Luai and Galvin better have practiced all week at bringing those red zone bombs down a metre from the tryline.

TBH, I feel a lot more confident with Luai back.

Hoping for a bit more composure, control and game management from him, especially in those moments when we face an adverse shift in momentum.

Very excited to see our lethal wingers back on deck together in the same side. Hopefully AD ready to resume his kicking duties.

Strong team named, we were full strength for round 2 & 3 and won both.

The Knights have plenty out but none youd call key players. Ponga, Best, Gagai, Thompson, Sharpe, Frizzell are all playing. What they have out would be like us missing Turuva, Pole, Seyfarth, TDS and Hunt. Not ideal but not match defying.

We only went down to them by 2 missing 2 our best players last time, so youd like to think with Bula and Api back we can make up for that. The Knights at home after 2 away losses will be not be easy and they arent a team that roll over, you have to earn the win.

I'll Tip us but dont think its going to be as easy as others seem to think

I’m not in favour of replacing Star for Nado unless there’s a compelling reason.

The improvement in his game this year has been remarkable. The more he plays, the better our combinations and “vibe”!

I must admit I'm a fan of Nado as he gives it his all. What about the chase to stop the try in the indigenous v all star game.
If the shoe was on the other foot and Nado was killing it of course he gets the nod.
We've got good depth now but we only have to keep our current best players fit and healthy and September just might be a month that we like for a change.

But To'a has been one of the best centres in the league thus far Vic. Stats wise he's been killing it. Making breaks, scoring tries and handy speed.
Hopefully competition for the spot drives them both on to continue, but TBH, I like the mongrel Naden brings to his game, it's something we lack generally imo.
