"Too good to not play FG"
I think all the pundits talk him up because he does have a very good play or two in him every game. I think the one thing I can say about Hunt at this point beyond all else is that he does keep having a dig. Never goes into his shell despite the many errors and brainfarts and that's a quality that I think resonates with people.

He needs to go back and keep working on his game though for sure.

tbh I’m still not convinced some of the pundits can’t tell him and Sharpe apart and sometimes he gets credit for Sharpe’s work lol

But yeah I like how he picks himself up after efforts…but he won’t be in the side when we’re full strength

I've actually wondered that myself. Like he gets some residual hype splash on him from the superstar mulleted Fletcher.

I think a top 3 teams are starting to emerge this year in Penrith, Tigers and the Warriors. Not sure who else will round out the 8, no-one really standing up and demanding it yet. We can be in there and in there well, we just have to find a way to get to our full strength spine back while minimizing the damage.

As for next week, I do think we have to move Sharpe back to fullback for a couple of weeks if Brown is back. I've been against it while Hunt has been doing good enough to get the W's, but it's hard to watch the errors and brainfarts when we're in a tough one and we just need reliable. Sandon is having issues too and has been rocks and diamonds, but he provides a lot more and the spine looks a lot stronger with him, Brown and Sharpe in it.

I don't have too many answers for replacing Bradman right now. De Courcey is not there yet. Might have to play Lucas there and just suffer the weakened pack for a couple of weeks. It's going to be tough - our lack of depth is really being exposed now.

Entirely possible. Though it goes both ways, some bloke I know gave Sharpe credit for Hunts try lol.

I reckon its more people see the diamonds, and there truly are some diamonds, and forget the rocks.

I must say, I’m genuinely happy for the Tigers to be going so well.

If there’s one bunch of supporters who have suffered like us it’s them.

One honourable quality shared by Knights and Tigers is we've ( i'm WT) don't pull shifty shit to steal players or coaches then lie that we didn't..makes it harder to compete with those that do but still honourable

No one is going to like it but I think we'll see 4. Lucas 11. Cant on the left next week. Toms another forum whipping boy but I thought he did enough today to probably be given the nod

lol you're right I don't like it, but I think it's all we got. We can bring Manuleleua on the bench and see what he's got too.

McCarthy is the other option I suppose. I dunno how he's doing in Cup. The vibe around the club seems to be that Votano ain't it, which is a shame given the hype about him coming up through the grades.

I think I'd go with Lucas too.

The issue is none of De Coursey, McCarthy, Hunt, Votano or Schiller can defend well, especially at centre.

Braddy is such a loss. He looks after that edge and offsets Marzhew's poor defence.
