I believe as a coach you have to look in the mirror when this happens. Where have you failed to read the complacency, where have you over coached and forgotten to ensure there’s some actual fire in the belly? These stinkers rarely happen to the top teams, but we are always capable of it even when on a winning streak. It’s a learning curve for O’Brien too I’d say, and he seems big enough to acknowledge that and work out why it happened.

Pearce because all the rubbish starts and ends with him. The forwards as a group have been terrible, but Pearce has done nothing to regain control. Every touch is bad. Every kick ineffective.

I agree. With some teams you you could easily write it off and wait for the bounce back. With us it tends to be the crack that shakes the entire foundations and if lose 4 in a row now I wouldn’t be in the least surprised.

I actually wouldn’t even be surprised if we didn’t make the top 8 and the demise all started today. That’s the Knights way.
