The thing is... there's a real sadness to this statement. You're right - it's the best we've looked in a while - but it's still shit! Our line speed is awful, our ruck work is sub-par and our ball movement is 9 times out of 10 clunky as hell. No players in motion when we move the ball, and the ones that bother put in a half hearted "I'm not really getting the ball" jog.

It's just shit. Shit, shit, shit. We seem to think we can compete in the NRL putting in little bursts of effort every 5 or 10 minutes, and just coasting through the rest.
I feel ya brother. Nailed it.

Great try. That's why Ponga needs to be on the ball constantly.

On another note, why is Crossland even out there? What is his role in attack? To waste time as a pointless link in the line? If we cut Crossland out, we get the exact same result only faster. Does he not understand that he needs to go to the line to put the defence in 2 minds?
Haven’t noticed him again today for a starting half that’s not good

Why wouldn't Young jump for the ball. You're at full speed. You have the advantage. But no, another dumb penalty.
