TBF Pythian looked pretty good when he played a couple of games for us back in 2017 or whenever it was. He definitely looked like someone who was worth persisting with at the time. But obviously injuries and off field issues meant his career stalled. Who knows though, I can’t see him being worse than Crossland anyway so why not throw him in?He definitely wasn't top 30 when he played earlier this year was my point. NRL are being lenient with letting players from outside the top squad play and I doubt they'd stop Phythian, especially with our injury list.
Depressing that it's even a possibility he may be needed in first grade.
