Our middles in the last ten….omg!

Bula v Cleary!

Has Tim found the secret formula?!!!

Up the ‘king Wests Tigers.

People were conjuring up a 70 point loss too.

There’s a few folk at work on Monday…

Good for Api on a personal level.

He copped so much for signing for us.

He’s beaten us up for years, it seemed like he’d chosen the wrong side and now he owns the Panthers.

Just one of those personal edgy things players feel good about.

They wouldn’t pay him what he was worth, chose others over him, after all he’s done for them and…its come back to haunt them.

It’s the closest thing to a mistake Ivan made last year.

That said, the panthers remain the team to beat this year imho.

I noted they turned the growls off near the end.

They've been building ok....validated confidence is fuel. A lucky win is is just that but the confidence that will come from sticking to a disciplined game plan and earning an 80 min against the SOO halves is just what the doctor ordered. I believe there was a lot of self belief instilled in the side after last week's game. Also a huge lift in effort from our imports was clear to see.
Also...Brooks / Wakeham....great job tonight!

How good is it to be here after a WIN! A lot of the players had their best games of the season tonight. Sure, the weather is a great leveller but we actually adapted to the conditions a shitload better than the opposition to get the 2 points. A win that we well and truly deserved.

1. Bula: Gee, he is the great white hope of this team moving forward. Safe, great temperament and that touch of class about him. He has the spot for the season.
2. Nofo: Some signs of life from him tonight. Keep going in the right direction.
3. Toa: Two solid games in a row from Toa now. Solid is enough to keep a spot in this team at the moment.
4. Naden: His head was not in the game tonight. Worth perservering with.
5. Tupou: Continuing to nail down that wing spot with solid displays.
6. Wakey: Not the best half on Earth but he is our best hope. Solid effort.
7. Brooks. Unusually great kicking and conducting game from him tonight. As is with Wakey, these two are our best hope for this season but Brooks needs to move on past this year.
8. Stefano: Turned back to his beast ways tonight.
9. Api: He has been brewing for the past two weeks now. Awesome game. He SHOULD be the NSW 14.
10. Klemmer: His best game in a Tigers shirt......back to his best tonight.
11. Papallii: Lipe Api, Paps is beginning to brew as well over the last few weeks. Still not Parra Paps....but his best game in a Tigers shirt in terms of effort.
12. Bateman: Solid but not the best conditions for his game.
13. Pole: Solid

14. Simpkin: Barely noticed him...which is kind of a good thing.
15. Offa: Big effort, not quite found his groove but getting there.
16. Twal: Unsung hero of our pack. I deep down thought tonight was the night he was going to get over the stripe. Love him!
17. Talau: Barely noticed him.

Well I may as well say it.
Luke Brooks was very very good. His defence (which is something he can do well) was outstanding, his 2 40/20 kicks were so unlike Brooks so there’s a big tick.

Good on him.
Agree, that’s been the difference for our performances, which is what everyone has been saying. I hope he can turn the corner now, but it’s only one game.

Klemmer had his best game in a while, he was super, forwards dominated we dominated every stat, I hope Brooksy takes a bit of confidence away from that game he was pretty good.
Isn’t Pole a big Bugger? Agree, the forwards were huge tonight, as was the whole team tbh.
I think Bulla if he continues with what we have seen, will be huge for us.

How strange is it, we have the chance to go on a bit of a run in the next 3 games, if we can hold this form (easier said then done, I agree)?
Dragons
Rabbits
Cowboys
Then bye

Hopefully at least a couple of wins there? And the climb can begin, though we have been here before.

Maybe Tim told him, “did he realise he is playing for a contract extension”?
Wouldn’t put it pass him to offer a 5 year contract on the way home?:(
