Raiders are a dirty, dirty team.

They got away with murder against us with shoulder chargers and knees...meanwhile we end up with the suspended player?

Tonight Guler with a high full impact shoulder charge and not even a penalty or on report???

CHN sent off for a terrible blow. If that were Sims or Fui they would miss half the season.

Such inconsistency. Used to like Raiders but they are now a vile group with a lot of filthy condescending players.
With 3 games to go I think you’ll find CHN is season over. Surely 4 weeks minimum for that shot

How about munsters hip drop tackle leading up to raiders first try
I keep saying we are heading into finals mode, crackdowns are over, refs are putting the whistle and 6 again calls back in the box.
I enjoyed the way the Raiders played in the 2nd half but if we were back in Round 10, sin bins, 6 agains could of been given each set of 6 they defended.
Good TV spectacle anyway

There were several head highs by the Raiders tonight especially by Josh Hodgson. CHN deserved to be sent off and will be outed for a few weeks.

The other thing I noticed was after the Raiders were penalised for obstruction by Josh Papalii, Josh touched Sutton on purpose on the abdomen as he walked past Sutton and said something to the ref before touching him. Didn't Frizell accidentally touch the ref and got suspended for a week? viz. https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...h/news-story/5cc68a418c1027d5d693ca7ce9535da6

and https://www.google.com/search?q=tys...7j33i160l3.10455j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

So touching the ref is acceptable nowadays?
Yep. it has happended a couple of times this year and last when players trying to get the refs attention. If commentators dont rant and rave.and play dumb like they are doing lately......then it must not be a problem snd nothing happens
Rules on the run sound familiar NRL

Hook brought up Cleary's blatantly obvious shoulder charge at the presser.

Meanwhile, on the fox panel, Cronk, when put on the spot, says it was a shoulder charge.

Brandy just sits there with his shit-eating grin saying it was cleared by the bunker.

Then the whole panel just erupts into laughter then change the subject to bbq-gate and the Dragons are gone.

Can't have the golden child missing from the game.

Utter rigged bollocks...

Cleared by the refs? No arms, shoulder forced into the ball carrier with enough force to jolt it free.

Double standards again.

Chanel 9 commentary team having a great laugh about the incident , with dopey Fittler saying that it is no-where near the same as Rava’s tackles .

Even rugby league’s greatest mercenary , Sooky Boy Williams demonstrated the difference between a legal and illegal shoulder charge .

Got me beat , as I thought that the NRL jockey outlawed all shoulder charges ? ? 🤔

He is undoubtedly one of the dirtiest , spiteful grubs in the game today . I cannot stand the sight of him .
Not condoning violence or thuggery but these guys know they can get away with grubby tactics these days as the get square has gone out of the game. Although Kenty is full of himself, I have heard him say a few times that players know they can mouth off or niggle and the opposing players won't retaliate.

Trying to imagine it the other way around, Bird hitting Cleary, Dragons scoring off the play... would be a completely different narrative altogether in the Channel 9 studio.

At least we know Cleary's dodgy shoulder is tried and tested and right as rain. So I guess we should all be happy.

Sometimes I feel I'd get more enjoyment following the WWE instead. At least it's not all orchestrated.

Yes unfortunately that has indeed been the case Trifili13 .
And there is no question that they realize the limit that they are able to go before earning the wrath of the referee .

As Big Red V said earlier - the game is truly messed up at the moment . No joy for the struggling teams any longer , as the favorable decisions always go to the top sides .

I was thinking the same on both counts TBRV , perhaps more so the shoulder being 100% .

Can you imagine this scenario after the game when Nathan gets in the Penrith dressing sheds - “ Hey pops , guess what ? The shoulder is fine , I done just what you said and rammed it into Birdy’s mouth ! “

“ Your a chip of the old block son ! “ laughs pops .

Be almost funny if it didn’t happen to our boys so damn often .

I just sent an email to the NRL showing that picture and asked the question why the ref didn't put Cleary on report. I wonder if I'll get any reply?
