wtf Matt Hilder trying spread, bad pass game down the drain.

I can see Stone wants Hilder to get involved more in plays. I want to see Hilder in #13 jumper and be that tackling machine he was the past few years.

For Christs sake someone take Scott off the f**king field

So Mirrors what I was feeling at this time.

If we have to move Gidley to the halves more then happy with Wes there.

Good games by virtually everyone, but special mentions to De Gois, Cross, Taia, McManus(wow his still got it!), Tolar(Yes I cant believe it either) and UATE you are our Marquee player.

Seriously I feel this.

No Dureau = Knights by 12.

I hate him, I felt sorry for him before but now I hate him.

I am yet to see the game, however it sounds like we got a little more out of mullen despite his number 7 being terrible.

Great to hear Jimmy was doing his job on Manu, according to the radio he was great in defence despite being on the same side as scotty.

Aku adds another to the highlight reel.... I feel la little sorry for him, he has finally clicked but he is all on his own.

Sau passed the ball!

Wes was impressive, attack and defence.

Sounded like Faas got a lot of touches?

Ciraldo is useless, a waste of space, did everything he could to bomb that try.

Scotty, its not funny any more, i hope stoney puts you out of your misery.

Real mixed bag with more negative than positive....Story of 2010

How anyone can wrap any forwards while our top 4 metres gained were ALL backs ( Uate, Naiqama, Sau, Lulia - in order ) is beyond me

Even I didn't think Dureau could get any worse. But somehow, he managed one of the worst games in the history of any halfback in the NRL. Top 10 at least.

Actually Dureau is comical.

It's so sad, because I've always been his BIGGEST FAN ;-)

Eight competition points. Eight. In four of our losses (it could be more) Dureau has been the difference between the teams. The difference between winning and losing. He has been directly responsible for two to three tries against us each time he plays. Rick Stone grow some balls and banish him. Take some control over your own destiny Rick before it is too late and you end up back at Nambucca with Scotty as your reserve grade half.

Wow, just wow.

I thought we still quite poor in a lot of facets of the game, but at the same time had immensely improved on last week's performance against the Panthers.

Positives as I saw them:

- Cross had a great game. Good to see a forward running hard this week.
- Welcome back McManus. It was to be expected that for his first few games returning from injury he would be a little rusty but it's obvious what he brings to the team. Like JM said, it's great to see a winger out there capable of reading plays and providing strong defence.
- Uate!!! Enough said. Love watching him play and is becoming a real fan favourite.
- Wes.. I am one of his biggest critics and I had him pegged as one of the worst players, if not the worst, in our team.. but today he can hold his head high because he stood up and performed his duty.
- Mullen improved. It was still way below his standards, but he seemed a lot more damaging out there. However I'm not sure if he's all to blame for his poor performances lately... what is the point of him trying to be a play-maker if nobody is f**king interested in taking part in a play?

Negatives.. there are too many to go into here.. but a special mention of course to Scott Dureau... what a f**king muppet of the highest f**king order. I would rather a forward at halfback than him.

It wasn't all that long ago... that the Dureau haters were in the minority around here - how things change.

I think he only has one fan left - Jobdog, but even he might be swayed now

Mate it frustrates the hell out of me, but who's fault is it?

Is it forwards being lazy and clueless, or for some reason is it part of the gameplan that our outside backs are taking all the hit-ups?!

It's crazy!

Also, I thought Cross was pretty good today. I haven't seen the stats admittedly but it seemed like he was making decent metres out there.

Our forwards do hit ups, but they're popguns. I.e. they run up and rarely push through the line.

I admire Tolar's commitment and work ethic, but first grade front rowers need to be making 100m a game at least. Or at least someone in the forward pack - somewhere - anyone?

I have a massive rant about that game in my head however i'm not sure if it's worth going through the effort to post it

It's hard to break through a line when you're jogging up to it.

Hm I just saw some of the stats.

Cross stood out to me at the game because at the time I thought he was making really good metres on his runs. It turns out that that was pretty true, but at the same he didn't get through much offensive work at all. 7 runs for 68m... now if only he could do 4 or 5 more

And the attendance!!

10,500 or something?

10,500 on a sunny winter afternoon. Sunday afternoons - which all fans apparently want - and that pitiful crowd turned up?

Thing is, I don't blame them.

How many will turn up to the next few games after that performance? ( Next game Monday night too )

Bad times.

Next week's crowd will be pathetic and probably rightly so.

Abysmal home form... no fair weather fans or non-season ticket holders will want to turn up to watch that crap.

Cold Monday night... no walk up crowd.

If Scott Dureau is named again.... - 3000.

I was the only one from my family that could go today. I could not give the tickets away. Eventually found one person to go who is mate of my mate who has a seat where we sit. When they arrive at the footy they have six GA tickets that someone gave to them who did not want to go...we gave them to a family I am sure there glad they did not have to pay to watch that debacle.

We'll get a decent crowd next week - probably 13-14k. Problem being 9k will be Parra fans ...
