One question to those that were at the ground; we played one verse of the team song at half time. Is that something you would like to hear happen more often?

Definitely NOT !!! It sounds arrogant to play it before fulltime, and it may offend the football Gods.

Match Review Commitee Washup....

Source: http://www.nrl.com/dragons-to-lose-scott/tabid/10874/newsid/61862/default.aspx

The news has just gotten worse for St George Illawarra with forward Beau Scott set to miss a week after being charged with Dangerous Contact on Ben Pomeroy by the match review committee. The incident happened in the 25th minute of the local derby at Toyota Stadium and even with an early guilty plea, Scott will be on 142 points and would miss the clash with the Warriors.

Sharks' Wade Graham was charged with a careless high tackle on Matt Prior, but will be free to take on the Panthers on Saturday night.

He's lucky he didn't get done for 2 careless tackles. He went high 2 tackles in a row...

As much as it hurts me to say it.....Bring back Tim Smith!
I just can't bring myself to agree, though we did see redemption for Pomm last night so who knows. I'd certainly be sticking with wade and giving him every chance.

With the Toyota Cup side going so well, did anyone see how townsend went?

I think graham and kelly are going ok, our only downside to last night was the attack still was perfect but the weather might of had a bit to do with that.

Pomm and best are our centres, wrigt went ok enough to warrant staying. Williams is solid our forwards are great.

I'm happy.

Highlights:

Gards taking the tap that lead to Toops scoring. It was good to see a bit of caution being thrown to the wind. The Dragon's would have expected us to take the 2 points, but rather we came up with 6. Good stuff.

I have been crtical of Pom playing in the centre's, but could not fault his performance last night. 2 try's and his first few tackles reminded me of Ben Grim out of the movie 'The Fantastic 4' when he says "It's clobbering time!" It was great to see!

THAT series of tackles around the 61st minute. It has been some time since defence like that has been seen from a Sharks side. Luv it!

Get ET in the dressing room a bit more often if he is able to have that sort of impact on the players.

Finally, the Toyota Cup side is going to give Sharks fans a fair bit to cheer about this year.

Still, I am not getting too carried away. Let's see how things go against the Panthers
