Mateo is one of the form players of the comp, but you can't compare him against Benji - they play a different game with a different role.

Put it this way, Benji cant make the big tackles or provide the offloads, but I cant see Mateo putting on too many big steps or throwing miracle passes.

"benji is too inury prone" or when the tigers lose its "oh it was marshall's fault" ppl i hear this far too often in and arnd the tigers club and supporter area. (not from the team themselves mind you)

the fact of the matter is mateo is brilliant in so many aspects, but you cant beat benji his kicks (thos sometimes wayward) can turn a game, his vision can lead to trys from his own in goal, his defence can cause a brain lapse (i bet covell is still trying to figure out wat happnd lol) and his step is jst magic that can slice a team in half and leav a golden gap for him to run through!

Mateo is one of my fave players, but benji jst oozes class and talent in whatever he does. he is one of the players whose presence lifts and changes the team (aka- lockyer, johns, farah) now from personally knowing benji i know he will never admit to it himself, but deep down inside i rekon he knows jst how good he is and can be- its jst a matter of time before we see THE BEST BENJI!

the stats are averages per game. So number of games are irrelevant.
per game Benji has about 20% of the workload of mateo. these stats dont lie.

But games played help contribute to form, Mateo has got better every week it seems so whos to say Benji couldn't aswell?

He throws miracle passes every game;-) however it's counted as an offload boo!

Are you for real ???
If Feleti played 5/8 for the Tigers and Benji played 5/8 for the Eels today, do you really think the result would`ve been any different ???
It was like men against boys, the size difference between the two sides had to be seen, to be believed and even with that being the case, 3/4`s of the Tigers side sh*t themself !!!
Parramatta are by no means a good forward pack, but our pack of pillows certainly made them look very good !!!
