He looked strong, that offload to set Robson's try in motion was as freakish as anything Hayne has done...who has the control to hold the ball in one hand, while struggling with two tacklers with the other and falling to the ground, and think "hmmm...I'll offload to you, actually no, Inu is in a better position, I'll reel that one back in and give it him"? Feleti does :D

Keep him on the bench for now though, he'll struggle with match fitness for a little while

Mateo was great in the little game time he had, he has to get a game ahead of Fumbles Smith.........

A good first game back by Mateo, still needs to learn when to push the pass and when to hold onto the ball however.

He only played the last 30 minutes or so but geeez, he showed just how much we missed him and what he can add to our team.

Great to see him back.

He only played for 17 mins. I wish he had been given more.

It shouldve been more. How quick the minions forgot about how good this guy was and how he'd carried the team with Hindy for the past 2 years. I hope you feel vindicated Ram, because your posts in regards to Mateo were spot on. And to those who rabbled on about not changing a winning formula and being loyal to the guys who had got us this far, you know who you are, hang your heads in shame.

Anderson picked his time to inject Mateo into the game perfectly imo.

You can see he's carrying a bit of extra beef so better to get a quality 15-25 out of him than a tired and lazy 35-40.

He'll get more time as his match fitnees improves.

What an amazing talent he is though. Gives us another dimension to our attack.

the great part of having Morts, hayne and robson in the team is that we can see mateo play miore of his natural game!

I think thats a little over the top.
Most wanted him back but some didnt think he should just be rushed back in as a starter.

He went well and Ando eased him in.

However I think you will find the reason he wasnt brought back earlier had more to do with salary cap management than fitness or team dynamics.

  .... yeah - cos the guys who have won the last 6 games in a row with only 17 mins on Feleti are just letting us down soooo badly - they surely don't deserve to be considered in any way and anyone who thinks they've played well is just plain shameful

I would rate Feleti one of our top 4 players, but I can also understand that our team has some solid chemistry at the moment and they are ALL contributing in their own way .... and I sure as hell don't feel shamed in admitting that :thumn
