This alledged news makes absolutely no sence. It simply sounds like another Smith bashing.
freak, this isnt a smith bashing, i have ample enough reasons to do that else where other than this topic!
it was posted out of concern! A couple of mates who regularly go to parra lower grade games originally told me and i initially discarded the information as they are merely lunatics!
But then another mate told me he went and watched parra premier league play newtown(?) and he said fui threw a little tantrum on the sideline at teh end of the game. He said he spoke to him later and the guy is sick of the little games that are played at the club....
the fact that the last person i heard it off is less likely to spout crap than the others led me to ask what you guys have heard....i still dont want to believe it which is why i wanted to check with the collective wisdom and contacts of this board!
the other thing which sparked unusual concern was that brian has a bit of a history of alienating young talented players....i realise a couple stay because of him but there are also a glut of players who leave because they are fed up with his games...so it kind of rang true!
and after hearing jake's post i am even more concerned. i am not really sure what to make of game first's as his mail has been off in the past, but jake usually has some pretty good oil.
And colonel, i too thought mateo had signed this year, but then i recalled the unusual amount of footballers (at all clubs) who broke contracts this year and realised this means nothing....i mean, at our own club Jamie. Vaealiki (sp?), dykes, moi moi, pai and im not sure who else have all been released with years to run (for whatever reasons)......so releases dont seem to be a massive issue!
