currently starting in NYC in the backrow with POH and Brien..

as good a talent as he is I felt that he's been rather disapointing this year and isn't showin the forms he showed last year, to me he actually looks timid when carting the ball up...someone else may have a different opinion.

Both Eisenhuth and POH have to fill out in order to make 1st grade

Matthew Eisenhuth was an Australian Schoolboy last year & played SG Ball for Parramatta in 2010 & graduated to NYC later on in the year.

If you look at his stats for the st george game it tells you everything 5 carries from a back rower when they were down to 12 men what a joke, look at the 2 other australian schoolboys who play centre and wing Jennings and Gagan both close to 20 carries. Also he does not bend the line when he does carry.

O Hanlon and Eisenhuth are copies of the same player. Some potential in both but too small even for NYC at this stage.

Na they aren't that small they just look it because they are so tall.

Matthew is 192 cm and 100kg and is only 18 (turns 19 in August). Most likely lacks strenght/power at a young age which will come in time.
Pat is 194cm and 101kg and is 20.

One of the problems for white players is it takes a little longer to gain the required strength/power to play in the NRL compared to Islander's etc.

They just need some time.

When i seen him play he got some nice balls away and had nice footwork. In under 20's its common to get guys who look realy good cause they are stronger than the others-But once they hit NRL they become nothing more than a battering ram.A lot of the islanders are a great example and perhaps Karlos Filiga was caught up in this just like Tautai....
The more i see of Rory Brien the more i think that he may not have what it takes for NRL-At first i was a huge fan Hope im wrong but beeing on the smaller side for a forward im not sure what uys like him would have much impact at NRL level?

The guy is only a kid & needs to have a good two off seasons of weight training to build size, power & strength. If he's a 100kg now he'll probably get up to 105-10kg before he leaves the Toyota Cup. The real question is will he develop his skills enough to make it in the NRL in 2-3 years time.

Agree Islanders have that power & size at an earlier age that the white fellas. White fellas have usually got better motors though but need the extra years in the weight room to develop power & size along with the better nutrition these guys get.

Luke Burt is an imposter. The dogs are barking...............
