IMO the 5 week suspension seems light but as stated earlier consistent. I was under the impression fans wanted consistency, or is it only when it suits ?

5 weeks is plenty and if he had broken his jaw or what ever then sure 6 - 10 would have been justified.

Tell that to Tony Williams who's serving a 7 week suspension for a tackle where there was no intent and the player was no injured. IMO Prior deserves a more substantial suspension than Williams. Taking into account Williams would have got 5 weeks but also got 2 weeks loading, 6-8 weeks is probably about right.

For once I agree with you. Dave Taylor got 4 or was it 5 weeks last season in a completely accidental tackle that caused him to miss Origin.
