I’d like to add people that have to check their account balance at atm’s and then make a withdrawal.
Id add in Vegans.

Well he was accused but not convicted of that so we can't really judge him for it.
For a start living 6 months in a place for addicts.
No he said wasn't aware of it until it was done and he tried to contact their legal people but nothing happened and he found out about it all in the paper.
People are letting their bias slant their how they interpret the facts.
Its always going to be hard to categorise where the bar should sit about being given a second chance to become a multi millionaire sports star.
Smacking the Mrs about? nah we can live with that.
Stomping on someone's head who you've attacked? Yep we can allow redemption here
Assaulting and terrorising a family in their own home - everyone deserves a second chance, just an error
It does seem murder, rape and molestation are probably the only offences that would see a sine die ban in the NRL.
But hey the game doesn't abandon people, what a morally sound game we are.
I love how the apologists for this merkin minimise what he has actually done, whilst at the same time exaggerating anything positive about him. Like Greenberg and others saying he's been out for 3 years when its 2 seasons and less than 2 1/2 years. Hell let's just round it up to 3.
I was unsure whether to call it out or join the bidding war.
Then I read these:
https://www.sbs.com.au/news/nrl-s-panthers-would-welcome-lodge-gould
"Gould revealed he offered Lodge a lifeline after he was let go by the Wests Tigers, however, withdrew the offer after a domestic violence incident, to which the promising young prop pleaded guilty but no conviction was recorded."
In fact he pled guilty and was convicted in the Local Court. On appeal to the District Court he again pled guilty but this time a conviction was not recorded.
Is that the same as accused but not convicted?

Lodge : "I stayed in a rehab facility for six weeks"
Let's just call it 6 months.
Did you even watch the interview? Here it is:

7:02 - Lodge "I did get a phone call from my lawyer in the criminal case asking me if I wanted them to represent me in the criminal case."
Well owned.
F##k it.
All you merkins back off. This blokes an Australian hero.
He's already been rubbed out of the game for 4 years, and he spent 6 of those years in rehab.
Helping children!!!
I just prefer facts over narrative. You're a sensitive one.
I just prefer facts over narrative.
Also, I will give you credit for not discounting the seriousness of his actions, like others have.
I prefer outrage myself.I just prefer facts over narrative.
F@#king merkin.I prefer outrage myself.
Last week a bloke cut me off, my blood pressure's been off the charts ever since.
Yeah, nah.No he said wasn't aware of it until it was done and he tried to contact their legal people but nothing happened and he found out about it all in the paper.

Yeah, nah.
He said he was contacted but didn’t want to be represented because he was in too much debt.
My cats breath smells like cat food
Packer served his time. Our game is turning criminals into good boys.
I hope it’s a KPI in the new strategic plan. SureLy there most be some govt money available for the nrl’s criminal rehab program?
