This.

magpie4ever is the long-lost, twin sister of Lodge's mother, so be veeeeeeeeeeeeery caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaareful not to hurt her feelings:lol:

Nah, just a dad who has dealt with some ups and downs nothing major, though.

This is obviously something you will never have to deal with given you would have been neutered at birth for good reason.

You still are a lump of poo.

Both his parents are Coppers so should be able to get him the help he needs, if they haven't tried already.
They can't get him out of this one though.

Sacked him twice a? Atleast they are being thorough.

They told him he would not be required past this year. So I assume the technicality behind his sacking statement is that his contract was still valid for this year and they've terminated whatever remaining period he was contracted for this year?

Hmm its a bit strange. There was a rumour some kind of player swap might be happening with Penrith, perhaps that is the reason he was still on contract...

The story seems to be that the Tigers told him they would tear up the last 2 years of his contract and he had to go elsewhere. Panthers were going to take him as a a swap for Sam Anderson. Than the incident happened with his gf back here and panthers backed out. Tigers told him he still wasn't required after this season and farewelled him at the end of season awards a few weeks back. Player contracts run from November 1st-October 31st so technically he was still on the Tigers books. Same as Kieran Foran would still be being paid by manly for now.

Makes sense I guess, though if he had breached is contract they could of just ended it there and then couldn't they? Like didn't really have to keep him on the books till the 31st? Maybe that could be seen as harsh by the rest of the playing group which doesn't need anymore drama.

I heard a great story from a family friend of theirs, for when he was younger, stole one of their cars, and was driving around in it pulling over young girls :crazy::crazy:

This dude is seriously wack...

I get the feeling a lot of this kids issues were swept under the carpet because he it so talented. His parents were probable able to get out of trouble as well if they are both cops.

Its a shame really because without footy this kid is headed to jail(if he manages to avoid it in New York that is).

Apparently they weren't straight out sacking him in the hope he could find another club.
