Probably because if he plays well, he also has his brother for support and if he and his new teammates get on, he might stick around for the long haul as well.

I thought the stuff that got him in trouble was dropped. It seems from our CEO that doubt exists hence the second chance comment and also the voluntary counselling sessions.
Anyway, I hope he can be an advocate for respect and be a good role model to the pathways and schools.
