Do we know who is going to get a run at FB while Hayne is out?

I personally hope it is Will Hopoate. I think him getting more ball in his hands and giving him more responsibility in attack is just what is needed to spark him into action. He has been solid thus far and a few half breaks away from being outstanding.

You guys agree? Could boost his confidence a lot so when he shifts back to the centres he's in better touch.

If you guys think the Shark game will be a walk over, you need to have your heads read.

In fact, I expect us to lose all 3 games this month. Besides Peats, we just don't have any leaders in our team. We are still a very weak minded team.

Agree on the first part, mainly because the comp seems so even this year and anyone can beat anyone.

I don't think we're weak-minded any more though, we've showed in those 3 straight wins that we can grind it out though. We were behind at some stage in the second half of all 3 games yet the players didn't dip their heads like last year and came back and won them. I think though it just takes a few players to have off games and that's enough for loss.

The second half capitulations against the Roosters and Cowboys weren't a good sign. But then Melbourne have shit themselves once this year.

That's good. He was originally slated to be available round 10, I think. So that's getting close.

I read somewhere the other day, i can't remember where, on our injured list they had him back for round 12. Who knows though, time will tell.

Good to win a couple of games we were expected to win coming into the BYE, a few of us had said this month will determine the season we will have.
I'm interested to see what people think now?

I reckon we are a top 8 side, 6th-8th.

I still feel we are one or two top line forwards off being a top 4 side.

It's a matter of deciding how many sides are genuinely better than us and how many are genuinely worse.

I reckon there are maybe only four sides better and none worse (on paper). So we should finish anywhere from 5th - 16th. It's still early days; plenty of time for us to pick up some key injuries and for the bottom teams to hit some form.

In our favour are the wins we've already got. If we win half of our remaining games we'll surely make the eight.

We only need to win 6 more games out of our remaining 14 games (giving us 28 points) and that should be enough for 8th spot if we don't have a terrible for/against.

Get eights wins from our remaining games (32 points) and I reckon that is a top four spot.

Continue wining at home and get 1-2 wins away we should hopefully go close to s semi final spot.

I agree - 2 top line forwards away from being a top 4 team.

I think we might get belted by Penrith next week, if we can somehow win that game, I think we're a massive chance of being a top 4 team this season. It's just fun for the season to still be 'alive' 10 games in

Agree he looked good. He's not huge but he's quick with good footwork for a big man. He landed on his guts after nearly every run, much like Dave Gower.

He also has ball skills and he defends well. Will replace Mitch Allgood for sure.

If Mossop replaces Allgood and works out as hopes well we almost have the side to be a top 4 team, maybe go after one more edge forward/ Lock for next season.

The Penrith game is massive, anything but us getting smashed and i will be confident we will finish top 8
