McFadden Says .....

we were top 4 2 months ago
johnson getss injured along with bodene and hoffman is out
theres nearly 500 games gone right there. we have kids come up that get targeted and show their inexperiance. Thats the problem right there inexperiance, maumalo is not ready and kata needs a break then when u pair them together they were so bad even matt scott could of strolled around them.
Stacey is into his only his 2nd year of pro coaching, still st least 4 years away so should never be considered.
cappy needs help around him for next year with everyone needing to be 100% focused on the warriors. even that means getting rid of wiki (who has another job on the side) then so be it. joey johns is no longer required at manly next year id sign him to a consultancy role. comes over every 2 weeks for a couple of days in the off season to work with, shaun, thomas and tui, then every away game he comes in for the captains run to go through things with the halves.
id look to see what maybe spud carroll is up to these days, get him in to help our front rowers out with hit up techniques and tackling and perhaps some dirty stuff we could get away with. look at someone like a matt cooper or steve renouf to come in and take our outside backs through some defencive reeads, look at what lines to run and when to come back or rush up in defence (cos clearly they got no idea now). then look at a pure tackling coach, to get these guys firing, some one like a tony grimaldi, go all out and leave no stone unturned. what about getting meninga on board to talk leadership and teach our leaders about winning and dedication and experiance. who is the new zealand judo and wrestling champion, get them in to get us being the top club that wrestles, especially with the interchange being reduced
plus we need someone to watchout for cappy in a coaching directors role. they need to be EXPERIANCED. someone like a steve folkes who has also worked in the referees box maybe. what about even someone like daniel anderson

This is getting trotted out a lot a the moment

1. It's a very compressed table.
2. Did you or anyone seriously believe we would stay in the top 4 irrespective of any injuries?
3. See 2

For Warriors fans, the standout thing must be that looking beyond the injuries, the season pattern has followed the traditional course

Slow start to the season, other clubs start to feel the heat of Origin time and the Warriors start flying and everybody talks them up, then Origin finishes, other sides get back to full strength and Warriors go flying out the back door at a great rate of knots

i did think that
we had a favourable draw on the run home but we couldnt sustain the run with the injuries

Over 24 rounds we have been in the top 4 just once. So for 23 rounds we have been outside the top 4. Got to love the Warriors spin doctors promoting how well we were looking this season.

Apart from the Storm game at home, at no time have we looked like beating a top 8 team yet alone being a top 8 team. The warriors brand of football whether it is due to injuries or not has looked appalling basic in structure and woefully ineffective.

Our game plan seems to consist of nothing more than "forwards get some metres and hope SJ does his thing/kick to Manu"
Take SJ out and we're rooted. The coaches need to be accountable for that.

Theres absolutey no point changing the coach unless its for someone like Bellamy or Bennett.

That's just bullshit

Ever since they let Cleary go we've had arguably the most shit coach in the league - McFadden is the worst in the league (admittedly there are a couple of others equal worst) and your argument is we should tolerate that, unless we can get the best? f**king bizarre logic that

What actually concerns me the most is the fact Jim Doyle has had no immediate impact on the side in his first year. For all the hype and deserved praise of the RTS and Luke signings the team itself has come to represent probably the weakest Warriors team in the history of our representation in the NRL.

In 20 years of being in the NRL we have never looked as weak as we do now. That is a matter of fact. I cant remember a time when the fans gave up to this level of degree.

Jim Doyle's true legacy will be how he turns the Warriors around and how fast he can do it. The truth is this season was over a long time ago, just watch the press conferences and you can see Cappy has no idea what it means to be in control, nice guy, but we know what nice guys get so often - they watch the others have the fun.

Simon is much a leader as Kevin Locke is a future All Black. Good player, not a world class people motivator though and inherited the curse of taking over from Steve Price who was a solid leader.

RTS is so embarrassed to be coming here, he is now pretending he wanted to become an All Black, FFS Doyle, get brutal and sought this rubbish out. Cappy and Iro have to go with half the players.

Mannering's not the problem, that's rubbish - bit naïve to believe that if he was shouting and waiving his hands around things would be different

Doyle inherited a mess, he needs to get rid of the coach and find someone proven

The injuries are an issue, but we're not the only team with that problem - but McFadden is whining about depth and inexperience on one hand, yet making geniused calls in selection every week...

No doubt Kata will be starting again, perhaps with a different wing, and Hurrell possibly dropped again

Did anyone ever establish why RFM was dropped?

It is not one specific problem it is several. And YES Simon is one of those. Did you not hear Simons interview after the sharks loss? He said that basically for the last two sharks trys that stole the game you just had admire them, they were just too hard to stop.

I could not believe that!!! - Is that acceptable?

Kata and Maumolo did a lot of admiring of the Cowboys this week - maybe it's McFadden's plan?

Anyone else kinda rooting for the Knights? Thinking it would be funny if we end up with the spoon.

I immediately typed no, but if it was enough to get us a coach - go Newky.

Thanks to my lovely daughter I'm up on nrl.com doing the predictor, and we absolutely still can get the spoon. Isn't that sad (both me being up and us potentially going from 4th to 16th)

The fellas at work are talking this morning about this, does it raise a good point at the different coaching mindsets

Manly lose, Toovey says "we don't deserve to be in the top 8"

Storm lose, Bellany says "we don't deserve to be in the top 4"

Warriors lose, McFadden says "we weren't that bad"
