Did anyone see Media Watch tonight? Remember the recent raid on The Sharks where they showed the moronic Julian Morrow grabbing the ground announcers microphone and make a remark about group sex in New Zealand? What was shown on The Chasers didnt actually happen as the sound system was shut down after 6 seconds and most of the punters didnt hear it. Anyway, to cut a long story short Media Watch asked The Sharks for the video and audio tapes which showed how The Chasers manipulate truth to suit themselves and said they would pursue the story. When push came to shove Media Watch didnt even mention it tonight. Just like they glossed over the problems in the Matthew Johns story by Four Corners it just proved they are are puppets of management of the ABC. Just like a lot of the media, these f**kwits are real quick to put the knife into the Sharks but dont want to print the real story!

The whole ABC including Media Watch has always been an agenda driven enterprise and always will be. It's a total disgrace they receive a cent of our tax dollars.

they were cut off.. only the "all players involved in the NZ sex scandal please report to the game day stand..." (where ever they said to go), doubt they manipulated the audio because the first line people heard then it was cut, just added the last bit to finish the lame joke

guess the niff nuff didnt realise the pa had been cut, was funny though, i like there show but they do go overboard

if you want someone to control the media, why give its own tv show?

In case you missed it, the Chasers created a slightly bigger story than that last week - which was the main story on Media Watch.

The fact that a fairly lame joke didn't actually happen quite as it looked on TV is not really that big a story. Especially as they have admitted to faking for a gag several times in the past.
