Eels fans are complaining on twitter that Cam Smith did not get sighted by the match review committee.

I know he's a merkin, but what did he do ? I don't recall any dramas at the ground.

Sterlo showed it on the Footy Show yesterday.
A leg twist in the tackle. You could even hear the ref telling him to stop it but he kept doing it.
Grub of the highest order.
We should have picked a fight there and then. We would have got the penalty and he would have gone on report for it.

it wasn't as bad as blair's one ... it was more just a normal leg grab to slow the play the ball down and a little twist on the end

i think smith is a merkin, but it wasn't done with alot of force

i hope the NRL would have at least sent a stern, "watch yourself merkin" warning

He's the biggest grub in the game, how that doesn't get sighted is beyond me it was at least as bad as Blair's if not worse. Smith is a protected species throws plenty of forward passes never get pinged, twist's arms,legs and heads and besides that one time in 08 never seems to get pulled up for it and then lets forget signing 3 contracts while managing himself. And they made him Australian captain which is sickening IMO. Great player no doubt but he has the most smackable face in RL.
