You can trade any bet if the price moves the right way. He can have his $1000 on now at the $3.60 and when they come to $2.60 for example, he can lay them for $1400. If Storm win or lose he'll profit $360 or $400 respectively. IMO he'd basically be betting that the big 3 don't break down because if they stay fit they'll win the minor premiership and will certainly be $3 or less when the finals start.

What I'm most interested in is where old mate can bet on the Storm NOT winning the comp at $3.60? That is something I haven't heard of. I think he's a bit confused about what the blue and pink sides of the screen mean.
