The Melboure Storm Board went in to a closed door meeting on Saturday specifically to discuss the idea of relocating to the GC.

A decision was not made.

It's no rumor anymore the Storm are now seriouly considering it.

As I understand it if they go this way it will not happen for another 3 years. This gives the GC bid sometime to get their house in order re their stucture, finances and Stadium. Something the CC has had in place since 1999.

And where are your facts on this?

I know that two board members were nowhere near the club offices on Saturday at all.

The meeting on Saturday was a briefing with some officials of the club and the NRL on the final draft 10 year plan that both parties have been working on for the past 5 months.

Singo knows he is on a loser with the CC BEARS hence why it is always his station coming out with this crap.

What do you want me to say. The meeting happened. It was reported on radio as I said and it matches with what an official said to me after the city country match.

There was a metting Friday with NRL, Vic Government News limited and Melbboune Storm were in talks about the Future and the 10 year plan with the Storm. the reason i know because most of the storm Head staff were out all day and i wanted to get in touch with one of them!!!! I got told by the recepionist.

And i spoke to the guy about 6pm cause he rang back and had a chat and told me what was said and THERE was NO mention of all of CC or GC in this Meeting!!!!!.

Great we go back to rumor again and now 4 possible clubs Bears, CC, Welli AND Melbourne are wondering about their future.

The Partnership Committee needs to make a decission and save us all the grief!!!

I agree that The Storm should stay in Melb and give it to the AFL girls..!!
The NRL and channel 9 needs to pull their fingers out and get behind the Mighty Storm. 8)
