Any word on whether or not Centrebet Stadium is going to be abandoned for a newer footy field or matches moved to ANZ due to State Government cutting us off?

The government cant force the club to move to ANZ or anything.

Just cut off future funding.



But I highly doubt that will happen to us.

The penrith seat both at a state level and federal level is a swing seat.

Thats pure gold for the club.

A government would be crazy to try to get us to move.

the taking out of the penrith name has certainly fired a lot of people up.While i am not happy with i do understand why they want to do it.The sad thing is it has pushed all the great things that come out of the forum into the shadows a bit

the overall club debt down to 40 million at one stage it was 90 million
the building of the accademy
the extension of Clearys contract

It's not that incredible when you've sold assets to do it.

Like saying you have paid off your hour mortgage by selling you house.

One of the trainers was going to recieve life membership. Forgot the third name, sorry

That logo looks pretty ordinary and the font used looks like PanTiters, there's no way i would put this out for public display even consider using it as the groups/teams logo.

Yeah, I like the new leaping panther , but the font is very odd.

I disagree.
While not the most important thing in the world. A logo is a primary recognizable symbol for out footy club.
We wear it on our hearts and sleeves.

I agree we still have time to tinker with it. I'm hoping this is more of a "teaser" showing basic layout of style more then this being the actual print.

I'm really hoping the graphics are developed a little more and not leaving it as a "Charlie Brown" type look.

Hard to say we a study ranked us the most unappealing NRL team. The constant jersey and logo change may have something to do with that

Overall I think the logo will grow on me.

I think the Panther is spot on. A good combination of the classic leaping Panther and the current one.

The text however, is a bit 'bleh'. I thought they were going to drop the rust red, but it's still there. The main thing I noticed is that the text is so far away from the Panther... maybe they'll use the logo like how the Rabbitohs use theirs sometimes?... where they isolate the Rabbit and drop the text.

I'm not phased that they dropped the 'Penrith' in the logo. It makes sense if they want more people from surrounding areas to 'own' the Panthers as their local team.

The response from people on the night was interesting when they revealed the logo. Dead silence. One kid in front of me exclaimed "Cooooool!"
If the logo was brown and white, or had the classic logo, there may have been a standing ovation. Who knows.
