What is the latest?

Still selected.

17. Kanaan Magele
A tackle-busting front rower who enjoys charging into the opposition defence, Magele was talent spotted by the Roosters in Auckland and played in their UNE Harold Matthews Cup in 2023. He then switched to play in the Mal Meninga Cup (Under 18s) in Queensland before returning to the Roosters where he has played UNE SG Ball Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup this season.

Queensland 23 (Cooper Bai, Zac Garton, Coby Black, Prestyn Laine-Sietu tries; Coby Black 2/3 Javon Andrews 1/1; goals Coby Black 1/1 field goals) def. New South Wales 22

Big night out for the Titans juniors. Puru was a livewire at the back, Bai was a handful in the middle, Stephenson was tireless working it out of trouble and Andrews got the boys home with a quality kicking game. His conversion just out from touch decided the game.

Queensland were the better team for the majority of the contest. Blues took their chances mid-way through the second half and it appeared they were on their way to victory once Black came from the field with a concussion. However the Maroons rallied with Stephenson making a long range break which ultimately resulted in a try to Laine-Sietu.
