Sparty Grunter (Spartius Grunterous) Highly toxic mutant fish named after it uncanny resemblance to the mutant human Spartan Dragon. First discovered by the NSW Department of Health during a futile attempt to clean and rejuvenate the Cooks River in southern Syd-a-ney. Although the rivers rejuvenation program dismally failed the Sparty Grunter continued to thrive. An expensive program was plotted to breed the Sparty Grunter in a new enviorment in an endeavour to improve its gene quality and make it suitable for human consumption. But unfortunately the Inner Harbour of Port Kembla rejected the Grunter and they were dispelled back to their only suitable breeding habitat. unfortunately some humans still attempt to consume this toxic fish resulting in brain damage and mutations. The Authorities have now encouraged these poor cretins to engage in community programs. The first such large gatherings were organised for the eastern side of Koragah Councils Jubilee oval in a designated area.
