Message to Effnic.

Matai is a low, grubby dog of a human being.

He is nothing but a cheap shot specialist.

However he has no problem staying down 15000 times a game when one of his corn rows is slightly put out of place.

He is nothing but an absolutely brainless pr1ck who happened to smash Farah high and late.

So unless you are Dr Effnic or have absolute proof that Farah stayed down illegally I would also then classify you as a First Class brainless pr1ck with honours and a distinction.

I'm a Tigers fan and thought it was a dive but who can be sure?

Also anyone to suggest Farah is a diver is wrong.

Two weeks a go against the Titans he copped one flush across his nose from Baily, blood was streaming out, right in front of the posts..............got up immediately.

Matai showed ill discipline yesterday and got what he deserved.

Manly fans try and take some ownership

It was Ennis that took a dive playing for the Broncos and then winked at his team mates when they came over to check on him. Summed up his career and life right then.

In 2007 (I think) Gallen copped a high shot from Beau Scott and stayed down to get the penalty. When he got up, he winked at Beau Scott.

I remember that, except he was winking at his own team and got busted by the camera.
A week later the rules were changed so that the video referee could not interject in such instances in the future, it was a lower than low dog act, and sums up Gallen to a f**king tee.

I don't know why there is a huge uproar on here over this. You can never be certain that he actually dived. Who cares? Most players have done something of the sort. Sure I'd probably be disappointed if it affected the result but other than that I'm hardly going to be sitting on my computer saying the Tigers and Farah are the scum of the game. TBH I'd probably take a tumble from a Matai hit too, he's a dumb footballer and can't control himself. It's pretty easy to exploit this to your benefit.

I have viewed the incident again today, I find it amazing that Farah was concussed, when Matai's arm didn't touch his head and came down on top of his shoulder. Should probably quit Rugby League if a knock on the shoulder can concuss you

On a side not, was amusing to hear that there was an Under 7s game at halftime, 1 of the young fella's got hit high and got straight back to his feet to a cheer from the crowd

That's it, he then came out and said he was winking because Scott had been hitting him high all night and he finally got a penalty for one of them.

The rule change has just resulted in more players being put on report for nothing hits.

farah probably took a dive and if he did i think its poor form.

however to say he has priors is wrong. against the titans he got a special right on the head and got up to play it groggily. gould then praised him and said all players take dives these days.
This is true. Whilst that was a weak act from Farah we all know Tim Sheens coaches them to lie down. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck chances are it's a duck. Tigers players lie and we all know it springs from the coaching. Man up Sheens you weak merkin.

Watmough rattles Tiger's cage GLENN JACKSON
July 27, 2010

WESTS Tigers chief executive Stephen Humphreys instructed Manly second-rower Anthony Watmough to ''stick to footy'' after the Sea Eagles hardman inflamed tensions between the clubs by claiming Robbie Farah should ''get some brain scans'' after his concussion.

Tigers doctor Donald Kuah yesterday stopped Farah from training until tomorrow after the captain suffered concussion from a hit by Manly centre Steve Matai on Sunday.

Sea Eagles players suggested the Tigers rake had taken a dive.

While Farah, who was disappointed at being called a diver, said last night he was still confident of playing against Cronulla on Saturday night at Leichhardt Oval, Kuah said he remained in doubt after neuropsychiatric tests yesterday.

It didn't stop Manly players continuing to taunt Farah yesterday. Watmough told Sky Sports Radio: ''I didn't think there was too much in it, but I asked him after the game and he said he was pretty rattled from it … geez, he might have to go get some brain scans if he's rattled like that because he might have a few problems there … it looked like it only clipped him.''

That led to a mind-your-own-business reaction from Humphreys, who said: ''Anthony would be advised to stick to footy, which he does very well. Robbie was clearly showing the effects of the knock. He was physically ill as a result - he was vomiting in the sheds. What can look pretty innocuous can prove to be something more.''

Farah was suffering headaches and head spins yesterday before undergoing the tests, which range from memory tests to balancing drills and mathematical equations. He did not train at all yesterday and was advised by Kuah to take part in very limited training today.

''We'll review where he's at come Wednesday,'' Kuah said. ''We have a concussion protocol that we go through. There's a level of doubt, but five days is a long time in football.''

The NRL's match review committee did not punish Matai for the initial hit on Farah or the firm slap on the shoulder which followed his treatment. Match review commissioner Greg McCallum said Matai was judged to have been attempting to knock the ball down when he made contact with Farah.

''We felt he had no case to answer,'' McCallum said.

He said the panel also decided against punishing Matai further for giving Farah a heavy pat on the shoulder while he was being treated because the Manly player had already been sin-binned. He conceded that Matai's actions were ''inappropriate for a professional player''.

''What he did was inflame the situation,'' McCallum said. ''We spoke to the referee about it - he saw his actions as inflammatory but it wasn't viewed by us as being serious enough to charge him.''

That said, Farah's manager Sam Ayoub said Matai overstepped the mark. ''I don't think it's up to players to judge injuries, and it's certainly not up to opposition players to go and touch injured players while they're being treated by the medics,'' Ayoub said.

''You only needed to look at [Tigers trainer] Andrew Leeds's reaction … If it was a back or spinal injury, you wouldn't expect him to touch him. When somebody's concussed, it should be exactly the same.''

lol when Matai slapped Farah on the back he said 'you've got a bigger hit coming, so get ready for it' hahahhaahha I guess that could also explain Farah's quiet second half

Signing Tim Sheens to a life time contract at the tigers in about 2 months...with NO KPIs and no expectations of making the top 8.

lol, f**king hell mate, don't say that out loud, you'll start a f**king riot.
Seriously is this the same f**king Humphreys that was urging Souths to consider merging with someone after SH himself had been involved in the top level of administration for about the length of time it takes for someone to have a sh*t and a shave?
Wasn't his f**king dad kevin humphreys, the bloke who got the boot from running the NSWRL in 1983?
Seems like stupidity is hereditary.

That will do me.... If he had a back injury he wouldn't have been standing when Matai tapped him on the back.

If he was as concussed as they have made out at half time, why did the tigers medics let him out of the field in the 2nd half. FMD How stupid and unprofessional are they? They hardly have any right to complain about what Matai did.

I'll say this about this whole situation. Matai was a hot headed fool for patting him on the back, but frankly I fully support him on it because it was clearly a dive. All the replays have demonstrated that. If Farah is in fact concussed, it is not from that incident unless he stubbed his toe on the way down to the ground.

Now for some advise to Humphry B Bear, stick to whatever you are supposed to do... Whatever that actually is at a club that has struggled for all but one season since merging. And you can't say it is because of a lack of talent available to them.
