I know right. Charlton is not close to Messi. Not only did he have a great combover, but he was also a fantastic footballer.

I don't know how anyone could say that. I'm a United fan and when Ronaldo won the ballon dor I said to my Barca fan friend that I thought he deserved it as he had a better year, but that Messi overall was a far better player. How can someone have such blinkers on, even if they support the club of a certain player?

To be fair, Evans has had a pretty good season, at least compared to seasons past but yeah he's hardly a world-beater.
