Michael Dobson

Benji was rushed back early (again) to save his (sub 40% winning ratio) coach's arse. We have also won a comp on Benji's back. I know who i'd rather have. Morris is a f**king tard. As for Dobson I saw enough to see he'd be an improvement on Morris - but then Ben Duckworth would be an improvement on Morris

Dobson has his moments... unfortunately they are, so far, few and far between.

If something doesn't go his way early in the game, you may as well put an inanimate object on the field in his place, because he'll be paralysed by it.

That said, this could be on the money according to a source. He stated that Dobson initiated talks with Raiders management about leaving... but talk is all it is at this stage.

If nothing else Dobson could win a BROS look a like contest so that may be a good enough reason to go after him. Will at least provide me with some amusement for the season.

On the topic of his skill. He is patchy at best. To boot Moltzen and Lazarus completely played all over him in the second clash against the Raiders in PL this year. He has major dowsides to his game and if given the chance our younger halves are a much better option

Gee if he cant tackle tiger town is the place for him. Imagine having sizzler Royce to over see your defensive game. Sizzler could turn junior Pearce into a turnstall so imagine what he could do for Dobson

Halves of Marshall & Dobson, dear god.

Still we won the comp with Benji and Scotty Prince, both speedbumps/turnstyles.

We'll have to score 30 + to win.. so nothing changes.

Sizzler will have them on the sand dunes and tackling bags
Alas tackling bags don't step, palm, jink, change direction or offload
I reckon Pat Jarvis would have offloaded at least once if he had have had the fortune to have played against us

I reckon Michael Dobson has plenty of potential. Still only very young, has a good kicking game and i think he defends quite well for a little man. Benji is not a halfback, either a 5/8 or preferably a fullback.
And besides that, Dobson is supposedly best of mates with Todd Carney who also comes off contract at the end of next season and if CT`s mail is anywhere near the mark, we could end up with 2 highly talented young Canberra halves, who could form a dominant halves combination for years to come ? If that happened, we could switch Benji to fullback ?
