His kicking game was good, and took on the line a couple of times. He did alright, not his best game. But at least he played in his normal position.

Well, while we've got nothing to lose - I hope Smith plays Witt at half to see out the season. Because like it or not we are going to be relying on him to fire next year.

I was pleased with Witt. Whilst not brilliant, he started to really take the line on more and did look dangerous on occasion.

I think he is a confidence player and with the more first grade games under his belt the better he will get

Witt's general play kicking is pretty average - he seems to not look where he is kicking the ball and is prone to kicking straight into the opponent - ie. that first try and several attempted grubbers - not just this game, he has struggled with his kicking this year.

But I think his confidence improved as the game went on and he wasn't bad....his defense is sloid which is very handy.

The forwards set him a decent platform tonight - while he wasn't hopeless, he didn't take advantage of the good work done by the forwards.

Thorman played quite well.

He does do some good things and he gets the ball out to the backs alot more then the other halfs we have used recently, he really didnt have to do all that much tonight.
they should play Burt at 5/8 he has all the skills for the position and has a go

Best thing about tonite was that nobody stood out as playing poor for the Eels. Every player from #2 to #19 at least made a contribution towards competing, and thus ultimately winning.
