A mate of mone who's a mad bunnies supporter has just told me they are about to sign Crocker for 3 years and release Wing. I cant find that anywhere. Gee we could use him.

Heard on fox sports news last night that the rabbits had all but signed crocker to a 3 year deal and was wondering if he was playing for peanuts as souths have a pretty strong squad already, if they let Wing go they could fit crocker in no problem.
Where to now for Wing? he has been one of Souths best when he's fit this year. If Souths are paying some of his contract for this year we should chase him.

will be interesting couple of days then, would Wing want to leave Souths?
How much would they have to pay him out?

I'd sign him as a hooker, but he hates that position (mucks up his hair).

mate that's anyone's guess, I would imagine that Wing wouldn't be an option this year, we justr don't have the cash.

this was posted on our rumours thread.

Wing at the 6 would be very interesting.

It'd let Mateo shuffle back into the pack at lock, and with Mateo and Hindmarsh in the backrow, the pack looks a lot stronger. Gulavao and Ben Smith round out a decent backrow combination.

Now if Wing could just bring a prop or 2 along with him :x

Not sure if dumping Finch to release some cash, then signing Wing is exactly in Ando's plans. Facts are that Wingy has become a bit of an over priced journeyman of late. Maybe he needs to drop his asking fee or head to ESL.

EDIT: He played Rugby as a schoolboy, so that might be an option as well.

But we might get Holdsworth instead! Why would we need a player like Wing?

According to the forum, they have enough money to keep both Crocker and Wing.

Don't hold our breath.

I'd take either of them for the minimum for the rest of this season.

I fail to see how it can hurt?

I'd happily take Wing if he would help..... but I fail to see why we are chasing outside backs again when quality forwards are our biggest concern. Crocker would have been a much better acquisition for the club. Any number of lower grade forwards not getting a run for their current sides would also be.....
