No wonder there are no big crowds going to the NRL matches.
They are all busy playing touch footie.
Sadly union in England has stolen it, I find it very amusing that they are running and promoting a version of RL.

Met a bloke who plays Wheelchair rugby today.
Got thinking that the NRL should tie in with them too. Would possibly benefit wheelchair rugby more but that's a good thing isn't it?
The IRB is running with Sevens, a sport that is at best superficially similar to RU and will likely kill their code and ours in the long run if it's an Olympic success.
It's probably time to stop thinking that they actually care about the game that they are supposed to be running...

The green and yellow combo doesn't make you want to vomit???
This one went through to the keeper somewhat when it happened but the Rugby Football League has followed the lead of the NRL in merging with other variants of the sport. The RFL have bought back the farm by signing an agreement with Try Tag Rugby – something which should benefit both parties.
Given that most English kids grow up playing soccer, Phill Browne has done a great job recruiting huge numbers of men and women to play recreational tag in London.
That's outside league's heartland and the main factor driving the association is that Aussie-raised Phill is a complete RL tragic.
Unfortunately English touch is aligned with Union. The RFL has their own brand, 'touch rugby league' but they are not the body that competes internationally. The union group do.
