We will still probably win this game with him at half, but no one can convince me we wouldn’t have done a hell of a lot better with Burton in halves. If worst comes to worse and we lose Nathan for a finals game, is Ivan truly going to just slot May in there to “preserve combinations”? Just dumb reasoning. Burton and Luai would have had 3-6 weeks to form a combination… but no, looks like May is the man. Ivan’s love child.

Edit: part of me believes Ivan doesn’t see the value in giving Burton time at half because he won’t be with us next year.

It also looks like it is in our game plan to get Naden down the sideline against Sivo and despite a few errors, the idea appears to be sound.
