1. Matt Geyer.
2. De Vere to wing and K.Gidley at 5/8th or centres, since Timmins is versatile
3. Hornby to wing and Peach at the back!

Someone said in the NRL section that 2UE reported Rooney was drafted into the squad after Mini was booted. Grothe would be the obvious candidate to replace him but for some reason they came up with Rooney.

By the time Minichello was punted, the St George/Parramatta game would have started so it was too late for Grothe anyway.

It will be interesting to see if the Rorters have the intestinal fortitude to punish one of their stars as severely as the Dragons did.

As much as I hate to give credit to St George, in this case they acted swiftly and dealt a severe punishment and should be congratulated for their administration.

To their credit they did come down hard on Chris Walker and have a strong discipline policy at the club, demonstrated with Stuart's treatment of Hodges after he went AWOL after his Origin shocker.

& nobody hates the rorters more than me & I didn't even think Minni should have been in the side if he wasn't fullback.
I also think Gasnier is a victim.
When does this hussy get splashed on the front page & interviewed as to her reasons for going to the media? is she a protected species?
Or is that a stipulation in a media contract somewhere?
