Missing Link Players

Just thought that some teams regardless of the position have a missing link as seen tonight in the Broncos Dragons game.

Cooper for the Dragons when he is missing. The Dragons seem to not have that attacking option nor that defence when he is in the team and really seem to rely on this guy to win games.

Smith from the Storm I'm sure they would not be at there best when this guy gives such clean balls and his defence which is also brilliant in defending the middle of the ruck.

Hayne, He is easily the only attacking option the Eels have and this should counter when they play manly and parra can't win without this guy.

Tahu is a great player and proved it tonight in the Storm game But as usual the better players in the knights never seem to get much ball, every time he touched it he looked dangerous and his defence was not bad considering.

Farah movement from the dumy half is missing even though we seen only one game of this and I'm sure the tigers will struggle for good field position without him. they play souths this week though and knowing souths anyone in the hooker position can look good.

Lewis can tackle make breaks and be one of those guys who defend all game. when he goes missing from the panthers they look aweful and really rely on his all round game.

Thurston is just and obvious

Gallen another obvious

Warriors,Raiders,Roosters,Dogs,Titans,Manly,Souths and Broncos have a few that could be an impact but the players above I think can cause a win with them in the team

and to think 90% of the community was saying Broncos are goners because of no Lockyer, bet they feel special at the current stage in precedings

Used to be Vatuvei for the Warriors, up until the end of 2010. Every fifth tackle in the opposition 20 we'd kick to his wing.

I was having the Coops chat with another Saints fan on here a while ago, he was claiming Soward was the Saints best, but I'd go Coops any day. Absolute champion and still one of the best centres in the competition off the back of his defence.

Definitely Smith for the Storm, culture my arse, he is the reason so many forwards suddenly get better when they join the Storm, or lose it when they go.

I never realised how important Hoffman was for the Storm until this year. Has been causing havok down that left side which they really missed last year. I would pick him in the NSW side.

Is Cooper that important or is the choice of replacement so inept that he spoils the entire structure? Or both?

Going by the start to our season, Campo is showing he was the missing link last season. He really is the only thing that has changed between last season and this one.

M Aubusson should be in the 2nd row every week for us which he sadly hasn't been. I reckon he's our most important player and provides the link between Pearce - Aubs - SKD.
