ok since you guys are so into statistics:

lara vs hayden:

who's got more runs in test matches
who's got the higher of the test scores
who's got more centuries
who's got more half-centuries
who was rated higher by Wisden in their century analysis
WHO IS NEVER GOING TO GET A 400?

only to one of the above questions is the answer: Hayden (you know which...)

also WHO IS THE ONLY one OUTSIDE OF MR 99.94 BRADMAN to get 2 triple centuries?????????????????????

look, Ricky Ponting will go down as great, Adam Gilchrist likewise, McGrath and Warne already are, but of the rest...they're just good! They may seem great now, but look 10 yrs after their careers are over. You'll remember Hayden and Boof and all the rest, but us international supporters will remember Warne, Murali, BRIAN Charles, Dravid, Gilchrist, Tendy, McGrath, Vaas, Kumble... and maybe Ponting, Chanderpaul as great but no Hayden, Langer....(there's a reason Hayden has only played about 5 years of continuous cricket...that rules him out as a great player in anyones book!)
Who has had more tests and more innings?
I like Brian Lara but i dont like you and your bullsh*t anti-oz ramblings. and Vaas great? he's a good bowler but there are shitloads of bowlers better than him out there.

Part of being great is being able to play test cricket for 10 years. #-o

There's a reason hayden hasn't played for anywhere near as many innings as Lara - he wasn't up to test standard for as long as Lara. Make sense?
True, although Hayden will probly be around for a long while now. Never denied Lara was an excellent batsmen, was just pissed off with the shit sanjene was saying.

so does that not make lara GREATER than hayden...?simple qtn, answer anyone...

so when ppl think that Lara is too 'inconsistent' to be deemed great, how can hayden be?

Tell me sanjane

If Lara was in the Australian side, whould he have had the opportunity to score the 400no ? think about it ........

No question, he is a great talent, I rate him higher than Tendulkar, easily.

But like Allan Border accumulated his record runs whilst playing in a poor side, Lara is doing the same. I would trade Borders 11,000 + test runs for a few more /tests series victories in the 80s. Im sure the WI fans would do likewise with Lara.

Its also kinda sad as a SL you rely and prey for other nations and individuals to put Australia down at every opportunity. To me, there is no integrity or class about you whatsoever.

Is Murali going to be a thief should he take Walsh's record???

Hayden was when he took Lara's.

Will Tendulkar be a thief when he eventually take's AB's record??

I'd wager Sanjane though AB was when he got Gavaskars because AB is an evil white man.

Why on earth would Chanderpaul be remembered as a great and Hayden not? Hayden has more runs than Chanderpaul from 34 less innings. His average is 15 runs superior, he has twice the amount of centuries. :?

Don't bring logic into it. It's simple. Chanderpaul is black and Hayden is white therefore Chanderpaul is great.

I'd bet Sanjane rates Dev above Hadlee and Botham.

man, the crap that flows from your mouth is flowing like the champagne in the Windies for the 400* or India for the series victory against Pakistan or Sri Lanka for the okaying of the doosra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i never said chanderpaul is great. i said, given time he might be as might your michael clarke, shaun tait....(geez, where have i heard that????)

and about the records, the West Indians had a right to feel aggreived when Hayden 'stole' (according to them, not me, I'm not West Indian...) the record they had held for 46 years! walsh has had his for the best part of 2 years only....i could not give a crap when hayden got the record, it was a great innings and all, and he deserved it but i knew it wouldnt last long, simple as that....

I don't think West Indians or sanjane is serious about Hayden being a thief. It was all a bit of a joke about Hayden borrowing Lara's record - simply because they held it for a touch over 45 years. When Hayden got it, it hurt - thus "stole". Comprehende?

No mucous, you're the only one who called him a thief. I read their message board.

I think the good folk of the West Indies are glad a germ like you isn't one of them.

El Duque, to be honest, after Hayden got the record there were posts on caribbeancricket that alluded to what sanjane is saying. In a goodhearted manner, but they WERE glad Lara regained it and saw Hayden as a bit of an imposter.

Which is really nothing what Sanjane makes it like. He posted the link and I couldn't find anyone sayimg Hayden was a "thief".

Shit for brains makes it sound like they hated the guy. Juswt because Sanjane hates white people doesn't mean everyone does. He seems to think that way though. The guy is f**king garbage.
